A DVD navigator based on a vehicle-mounted terminal is disclosed. The DVD navigator includes: a menu panel module, configured to generate a first level in response to reception of an unload instruction; and a quick-unload module, configured to acquire the first level in a sleep state of the DVD navigator and process the first level to generate a second level and a pulse signal so as to control the DVD navigator to quickly unload a disc according to the second level in the sleep state. By the aforesaid way, the present disclosure can effectively reduce the unload time of the DVD navigator by controlling the DVD navigator to quickly unload a disc in the sleep state after receiving the unload instruction.

A device, system and method for real-time personalization of streaming video is provided. The device has access to a memory storing: nonpersonalized video segments; and data for rendering personalized video segments, the nonpersonalized video segments and the personalized video segments associated with a given order. When a request for a personalized video is received, the device causes rendering of at least a subset of the personalized video segments to be rendered using the data, incorporating personal data associated with the request into the personalized video segments. As the personalized video segments are rendered, the device updates and transmits a manifest, to the communication device, identifying available video segments according to the given order. The video segments identified in the manifest are provided to the communication device in response to receiving requests for the video segments.

A computer-implemented method of creating customized programming content for a user of a media content system includes accessing a user interest profile for the user, the user interest profile comprising a ranked list of a plurality of interest categories; locating at least one media segment corresponding to each of the interest categories of the user interest profile; calculating the correlation between the user interest profile and data describing each of the located media segment, and ranking the media segments based on the correlation; assembling the media segments into a customized media programming stream based on the ranking; and displaying the customized media programming stream to the user.
