Cycling cleat and a cycling pedal
A cycling footwear cleat for connection to a receiving portion of a pedal is shown. The pedal includes a mounting shaft to which the receiving portion of the pedal is rotatably mounted. The cleat including: a mount for mounting the cleat to an underside of cycling footwear; an attachment portion for receipt by the receiving portion of the pedal; and a resilient member provided between the attachment portion and the receiving portion when the pedal is attached to the cleat. The resilient member resists movement of the attachment portion relative to the receiving portion. The resilient member improves a cyclist's pedalling efficiency, as well as allowing for variable float of the cleat within the pedal as and when required.

Sole for cycling shoe
A sole for cycling shoe includes a forefoot section, a heel section and an arch section connected between the forefoot section and the heel section, a longitudinal axis and a tilting axis defined between the forefoot section and the heel section, a deviation angle defined between the tilting axis and the longitudinal axis, a middle part extending through the forefoot section, the arch section and the heel section, and two side wing portions defined at two opposite sides relative to the middle part. The rigidity of the middle part is higher than the two side wing portions. The middle part extends in the arch section along the tilting axis. Based on the above-described technical features, the overall structure of the sole has sufficient rigidity with enhanced torsionability on the rear end thereof, making the cycling shoe more comfort.

PROTECTIVE WEAR CLOSURE SYSTEM
An article of protective wear such as a boot (10) includes a flexible shell (14) with an opening (16) extending between two parts (20, 22) of the shell that (14) can move relative to each other to open or close the opening (16). The boot (10) has one or more releasable closure elements (24) for holding the first and second parts (20, 22) closed and a mechanical tightening mechanism (28, 30) that allows tightening of the first and second parts (20, 22), but resists separation between them. The boot (10) also includes a one-way hook-and-loop fastening system (38, 40) attached to the first and second parts (20, 22) that is configured to resist relative sliding between the first and second parts (20, 22) to a looser condition, but to allow relative sliding between the first and second parts (20, 22) to a tighter condition.

ATHLETIC FOOTWEAR AND CLEAT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Athletic footwear and cleats comprise a first molded layer comprising a rigid substrate including a hole for connecting the molded layer to a shoe, and wherein the first molded layer is adapted to engage binding elements of a pedal, and a second molded layer formed on the bottom portion of the first molded layer, the second molded layer substantially conforming to a shape of a portion of the first molded layer. The second molded layer forms a soft walking surface adapted to provide traction with a walking surface and a raised portion formed thereon, the raised portion adapted to impact float friction during operation. The first molded layer may include nylon, and the second molded layer comprises a thermoplastic elastomer, a thermoplastic polyurethane, and/or a silicone substrate. A third molded layer may be provided to reduce contact friction between the cleat and the pedal of an exercise cycle.
ARTICLES OF FOOTWEAR HAVING AN UPPER THAT INCLUDES A KNITTED COMPONENT WITH A CUSHIONING REGION AND METHODS FOR FABRICATING THE SAME
Articles for footwear, uppers for articles of footwear, and methods for fabricating articles of footwear are provided. In one example, an upper for an article of footwear includes a knitted component. The knitted component includes a plurality of knitted cushioning structures that define a cushioning region.

Dual-layer insole apparatuses for diabetic foot lesion prevention and related methods
Dual-layer insole apparatuses for diabetic foot lesion prevention and related methods are provided. Some insole apparatuses have a body defining a plurality of cavities configured to be coupled to a fluid source. The fluid source can deliver fluid to vary internal pressures of the cavities. The body further defines an insole-shaped structure.
