NOTIFICATION AND ALERT METHOD FOR WEARABLE AND/OR OTHER DEVICES
Systems and methods for delivering alerts, notifications and messages, to and, if configured, responses from one to many users wearing technology designed for single and/or multiple media types, utilizing one to many non-primary communication pathways enabled are contemplated in which (a) a primary communication channel pathway, (b) a primary or non-primary control channel(s) is established, by wireless receiver and/or wired connection to a group of users, that (b) then allows an activation method type to provide an alert/notification/message method to one-to-many persons (i.e., users) and/or, one-to-many devices in an addressable manner that establishes a non-primary communication channel path that is parallel and unknown to the primary communication channel path. The overall method consists of a router function and media delivery routing technology) that are actively listening on a primary communication/control pathway or a non-primary control channel.

System for transmitting broadcast data
A broadcast transmission system according to an aspect of the present invention includes a broadcast network controller and a broadcast network switch, thereby transmitting an Internet protocol (IP) stream for a service that cannot be transmitted through one physical layer pipe (PLP) by distributing the IP stream into a combination of one or more PLPs. In this case, the combined PLPs may be in one or more broadcast network frequency bands. The broadcast network controller determines the combination of PLPs, and the broadcast network switch distributes the IP stream into one or more PLPs according to a control command of the broadcast network controller.

Systems and methods for facilitating wireless intercom in a local communications network
Systems and methods for facilitating wireless intercom in a local communications network are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: generate and transmit a first broadcast packet and a second broadcast packet to a set of end-user communication devices; receive a first device-specific packet, on a first channel by a first central antenna and during a first uplink time period; receive a second device-specific packet, on the first channel by the first central antenna and during a second uplink time period; receive the first device-specific packet, on a second channel by a second central antenna and during a third uplink time period; receive the second device-specific packet, on the second channel by the second central antenna and during a fourth uplink time period; generate a third broadcast packet that includes packetized downlink information; and transmit the third broadcast packet to the set of end-user communication devices.
Systems and methods for automatically assigning voice communication channels to employees in quick service restaurants
Systems and methods for assigning voice communication channels used by a crew of employees using communication devices are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: electronically store information, wherein the information represents associations of individual voice communication channels with one or more communication groups; receive user input that identifies employees, automatically determine sets of communication channel assignments per communication device, between communication channels and subsets of communication groups; configure communication devices according to the determined assignments; and facilitate packet-based communication, using the communication channels, between the communication devices.
Bandwidth query report poll
Embodiments of systems and methods for wireless communication in a wireless network include generation of a bandwidth query report poll (BQRP) frame by an access point and transmission of the BQRP frame to multiple wireless stations. The BQRP frame includes a bandwidth query for each station. Each wireless station receives the BQRP frame and generates a bandwidth query report. The bandwidth query report includes channel availability information at a corresponding wireless station. The access point allocates channel resources to each wireless station according to the channel availability information.
Efficient multicast group routing across tree-based wireless network
Approaches for multicast routing a group packet that includes a payload and routing information (e.g., a target identifier vector and a target multicast group ID) in a network having multiple cells each comprising a parent node and one or more child nodes include establishing and storing one or more child-node multicast group map tables associated with the child node(s) for each cell; receiving a multicast group packet; determining whether to forward the multicast group packet to the child node(s) based at least in part on the child-node multicast group map table(s) associated therewith and the received target identifier vector; and if so, causing the parent node to forward the multicast group packet to the child node(s).
