ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A method, device, system, and media are directed to controlling a multi-tuner radio. A voice command may be received and/or filtered. An operation of the radio may be modified based on the voice command. A gesture input may be received through a gesture pad. Another operation of the multi-tuner radio may be modified based on the received gesture input. A fingerprint may be recognized with a gesture pad. A user may be authenticated based on the recognized fingerprint. The operation or the other operation may be personalized based on the fingerprint. User training may be provided for the gesture input.
Communication system
A communication system is described in which an MBMS service is provided by unicast or broadcast/multicast communication in dependence on whether the number of mobile communication devices indicating an interest in receiving the service is below or above a broadcast threshold. An improved procedure for counting the number of mobile communication devices interested in receiving the MBMS service is also disclosed.
Method for link aggregation and related devices
The present disclosure provides a method for link aggregation and related devices. The method is applied to an electronic device including an application layer, a framework layer, and a kernel layer. The method includes the following. A touch operation on an operation interface is detected via the application layer. A link aggregation function is enabled via the framework layer in response to the touch operation, where the link aggregation function is enabled by establishing a first wireless link and at least one second wireless link. In response to enablement of the link aggregation function, a link selection strategy is determined via the kernel layer, and a mapping relation between data streams and wireless links is established according to the link selection strategy to transmit data stream transmission via on a designated link.
Notification and alert method for wearable and/or other devices
Systems and methods for delivering alerts, notifications and messages, to and, if configured, responses from one to many users wearing technology designed for single and/or multiple media types, utilizing one to many non-primary communication pathways enabled are contemplated in which (a) a primary communication channel pathway, (b) a primary or non-primary control channel(s) is established, by wireless receiver and/or wired connection to a group of users, that (b) then allows an activation method type to provide an alert/notification/message method to one-to-many persons (i.e., users) and/or, one-to-many devices in an addressable manner that establishes a non-primary communication channel path that is parallel and unknown to the primary communication channel path. The overall method consists of a router function and media delivery routing technology) that are actively listening on a primary communication/control pathway or a non-primary control channel. If an activation method is utilized over the communication pathway or non-primary control channel and an activation is designated for specific device(s) assigned within a specific non-primary communication channel pathway, then a delivery method for that device(s) is invoked that processes and delivers the non-primary media (audio, visual, and sensory) based on the command type, any local settings and the media type transmitted. In addition, the wearable device may also include connection to a specialized, logical audio router that manages non-primary communication channels and ‘cut-ins’ or ‘super-imposition’ functions for the delivery of alerts, notifications, and messages as an overlay on the primary communications channel that all users present may then hear, see, feel and/or respond via available methods through the appropriate primary and/or non-primary communications channel.

Method and apparatus for supporting multicast service in a wireless communication
A method performed by a first entity in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving a first request message for receiving a multicast service from a second entity, detecting information about a multicast session identifier (ID) from the first request message, requesting information about a fourth entity corresponding to the multicast session ID from a third entity when the first entity does not correspond to the information about the multicast session ID, receiving the information about the fourth entity corresponding to the multicast session ID, identifying the fourth entity based on the information about the fourth entity, transmitting a multicast session join request message to the fourth entity, and receiving a message accepting multicast session join from the fourth entity.

Mesh network based automated upload of content to aircraft
The Automated Content Upload System networks a plurality of aircraft together when they are parked at the gates of an airport. Communications among the aircraft are guided by a Content Manager, resident at or near the airport, which maintains data representative of InFlight Entertainment Content presently stored on each aircraft and the list of scheduled InFlight Entertainment Content available on each aircraft. The Content Manager guides the exchange of InFlight Entertainment Content among the aircraft, as well as from the Content Manager to the aircraft, to automatically distribute InFlight Entertainment Content to the aircraft efficiently and timely. This process includes the ability to multicast data from the Content Manager to multiple aircraft in a single transmission, obtaining content delivery efficiency, populating multiple aircraft via a single transmission from the Content Manager. Furthermore, the Content Manager can supplement this process via transmissions to the aircraft in flight over the Air-To-Ground link.
