Synchronized audio mixing
A first example playback device includes one or more processors and a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the first playback device to perform functions. The functions include generating a mixed audio signal comprising one or more components of a first audio stream and one or more components of a second audio stream; and playing the mixed audio signal, where the one or more components of the second audio stream of the mixed audio signal played by the first playback device are played in synchrony with a second playback device configured to play the second audio stream. An example non-transitory computer-readable medium and an example method, both related to the first example playback device, are also disclosed herein.

Color slider
Adjusting gains of an audio mix. Audio tracks using respective gains are individually analyzed to compute a first metric of frequency content. A user input specifies a desired second metric of the frequency content. Responsive to the user input, respective gains of the audio tracks are collectively and simultaneously adjusted to produce respective adjusted gains of the audio tracks. A second audio mix when played of the audio tracks with the respective adjusted gains has a third metric of frequency content different from the first metric of frequency content. The third metric is closer to the second metric than said first metric.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR 3D SOUND PLACEMENT
A phone app is disclosed that enables a user to place 3D sound in a room. The user of this app is able to locate precisely where sound is perceived to originate by aiming their phone. This app may be used by audio professionals in place of the controls on a traditional sound mixer.
AUDIO CONTROL MODULE AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING SOUND DURING A LIVE PERFORMANCE
An audio control module is provided for controlling sound during a live performance, and may for example be one of multiple independent audio control modules, one provided for each performer, as part of an audio control system. The audio control module includes a housing having a bottom, walls, a lid, and at least four audio input connectors configured to receive sound signals via connected electrical signal cables. The audio control module processes the sound signals based at least in part on audio control settings provided via user input (e.g., from the respective performer) associated with one or more of the sound signals. Digital connectors may be configured to communicate with other audio control modules at least by transmitting processed sound signals. A mixer module, where provided as part of the system, may selectively combine sound signals from the audio control modules to provide desired mixed output audio signals.
DISTRIBUTED NETWORK RECORDING SYSTEM WITH TRUE AUDIO TO VIDEO FRAME SYNCHRONIZATION
A remote voice recording is synchronized to video using a cloud-based virtual recording studio within a web browser to record and review audio while viewing the associated video playback and script. All assets are accessed through or streamed within the browser application, thereby eliminating the need for the participants to install any applications or store content locally for later transmission. Recording controls, playback/record status, and audio timeline and script edits are synchronized across participants and may be controlled for all participants remotely by a sound engineer so that each participant sees and hears the section of the program being recorded and edited at the same time. High-resolution audio files for dubbing video are created and time synchronized to the relevant video frames.

DISPLAY METHOD AND DISPLAY DEVICE
A display method includes displaying a list of a plurality of groups in a first area which is a first partial area of a display, and a name of a component belonging to at least one of the plurality of groups in a second area which is a second partial area of the display and is different from the first area. In the displaying, switching a display mode between a first display mode and a second display mode is performed in the second area. The first display mode is a mode in which all of the plurality of groups are displayed and a group, out of the plurality of groups, to which the component belongs is displayed in a display appearance different from that of a different group of the plurality of groups. The second display mode is a mode in which, out of the plurality of groups, only the group to which the component belongs is displayed.
Method and electronic device for formant attenuation/amplification
A method comprising determining feature values of an input audio window and determining a formant attenuation/amplification coefficient for the input audio window based on the processing of the feature values by a neural network.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AT LEAST ONE MULTICHANNEL AUDIO MATRIX ACROSS A GLOBAL NETWORK
A system and method for transmitting at least one multichannel audio matrix across a global network is shown and described. The method for transmitting at least one multichannel audio matrix across a global network begins by capturing audio from a production source. The captured audio is then converted from an analog format to a digital format. The digital audio may then be encoded using an audio codec. The audio is sent to a network and received at a second location. The second location uses a specialized computing device to ensure the audio is properly received. If the audio was encoded, it is now decoded. Once decoded if needed the audio is converted back to analog format. This will allow for the audio to be mixed on a mixing device.
