The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and uses of systems for treating a skin condition with phototherapy. A system comprises (a) a phototherapy device comprising a phototherapy light source; (b) a patient computing device comprising a processor and a memory, the patient computing device configured to: transmit a first signal to the phototherapy device enabling operation of the phototherapy device according to one or more conditional prescription parameters, activate the phototherapy light source, and transmit a second signal reporting operation of the phototherapy device; and (c) a server configured to communicate with the patient computing device and receive the second signal.

The tips can be disposable or reusable. The light-emitting device may be used in conjunction with distilled water to treat infections, sterilize wounds or to minimize infection prior to surgical closure.

The device includes at least two light emitters and at least one light-converting material arranged to convert at least a portion of light from the light emitters. Any unconverted light emitted from the light emitters and converted light emitted from the at least one light-converting material mixes to form a combined light, the combined light being white. In one aspect, the light emitters include at least one blue light emitter and at least one violet light emitter. In another aspect, the light emitters include one blue light emitter and one emitter within the range of approximately yellow to infrared light.

Systems and methods for treating a cognitive disease or disorder are provided. A treatment method comprises: selecting a target volume of brain tissue to be stimulated; identifying at least one avoidance volume of brain tissue; selecting a first stimulation lead comprising at least one stimulation element; identifying at least one proposed trajectory for placement of the first stimulation lead based on the target volume and the at least one avoidance volume; placing the first stimulation lead along a placement trajectory selected from the at least one proposed trajectory; attaching the first stimulation lead to a stimulator; and stimulating the target volume with the first stimulation lead at least one stimulation element to treat at least one of a cognitive disease or a cognitive disorder. Systems include a stimulator with one or more stimulation leads and an image analyzer for identifying a proposed trajectory for placing the stimulation leads.

A method for treating a disease, disorder, or condition in a subject in need thereof, by administering either or both of (i) at least one photoactivatable pharmaceutical agent, or (ii) a first plurality of energy-emitting particles, into the subject in a region of the disease, disorder, or condition, whereby the administering is performed through inhalation; and applying an applied electromagnetic energy to the subject, wherein the applied electromagnetic energy directly or indirectly activates the at least one photoactivatable pharmaceutical agent, when present, and wherein when the first plurality of energy-emitting particles is present, the first plurality of energy-emitting particles absorbs the applied energy and emits an emitted electromagnetic energy, wherein the emitted electromagnetic energy interacts directly with the region of the disease, disorder, or condition or activates the at least one photoactivatable pharmaceutical agent.
