MEDIA IDENTIFICATION USING WATERMARKS AND SIGNATURES
Apparatus, systems, articles of manufacture, and methods to identify media using watermarks and signatures are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a watermark evaluator to determine a category indicated by a watermark detected in the media. The example apparatus also includes a signature comparator to compare a query signature with a subset of reference signatures associated with the category to identify the media, the query signature generated from the media, the reference signatures generated from reference media associated with the category.

ELECTRONIC APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF AND ELECTRONIC SYSTEM
An electronic apparatus according to an embodiment includes a communicator, and a processor configured to, based on multimedia data being received from an external device through the communicator, obtain word-related information during a time period from audio data included in the multimedia data, control the communicator to transmit identification information including the word-related information and time information corresponding to the time period to a server, and receive broadcast provider information corresponding to the transmitted identification information from the server through the communicator.
Methods and apparatus to detect commercial advertisements associated with media presentations
Methods and apparatus to detect commercial advertisements associated with media presentations are disclosed. An example apparatus to detect a commercial transition associated with a media presentation include means for comparing an amount of audio randomness in an inter-segment audio frame to a random level threshold, where the amount of audio randomness is based on a random-factor ratio. The example apparatus further includes means for indicating, in response to the amount of audio randomness satisfying the random level threshold, the inter-segment audio frame as occurring at the commercial transition.

Method and system for determining the dimensions of an object shown in a multimedia content item
A method and system for determining at least a size dimension of objects shown in multimedia content items are presented. The method includes receiving an input multimedia content item; identifying objects shown in the multimedia content item; generating at least a first signature for at least a first object of the plurality of objects and at least a second signature for at least a second object; identifying at least one concept that matches the at least a first object; determining an actual size of the first object respective of the match to the at least one concept; determining a size scale between the first object and the second object using the at least a first signature and the at least a second signature; and determining the at least size dimension of the second object respective of the size scale and the actual size of the first object.

REAL-TIME AUTOMATED CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM
The current embodiments relate to a real-time automated classification system that uses machine learning system to recognize important moments in broadcast content based on log data and/or other data received from various classification systems. The real-time automated classification system may be trained to recognize correlations between the various log data to determine key moments in the broadcast content. The real-time automated logging system may determine and generate metadata that describe or give information about what is happening or appearing in the broadcast content. The real-time automated logging system may automatically generate control inputs, suggestions, recommendations, and/or edits relating to broadcast content based upon the metadata, during broadcasting of the broadcast content.

Media identification using watermarks and signatures
Apparatus, systems, articles of manufacture, and methods to identify media using watermarks and signatures are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a watermark evaluator to determine a time and a category indicated by a watermark detected in the media and a window generator to determine a search window based on the time indicated by the watermark. The example apparatus also includes a signature comparator to compare a query signature having a time value within the search window with a subset of reference signatures associated with the category to identify the media, the query signature generated from the media, the subset set of reference signatures generated from reference media associated with the category.
