AUTOMATED COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT
There is disclosed a computer system for analysing content, comprising: a detection module connected to receive at least one piece of digital content, the detection module being operable to access a set of compliance rules and compare the received at least one piece of digital content with the set of compliance rules, the detection module further being configured to generate an alert if the result of the analysis indicates a breach of at least one of the rules; a moderator module connected to receive the alert, the moderator module configured to enable output to a moderator based only on the piece of digital content which caused the alert to be generated, whereby the moderator can assess a modification to be made to the piece of content which caused the alert to be generated.
Monitoring Behavior of Listening to Broadcast
The invention relates to monitoring behavior of listening to broadcast, and it is presented a device and a method for monitoring behavior of listening to broadcast. The device comprises a transmitter transmitting a characteristic audio signal which is modulated on a carrier signal; a collector collecting an ambient sound; a detector detecting whether the collected ambient sound contains the characteristic audio signal; and a determiner determining whether a broadcast receiving apparatus receives the broadcasting channel corresponding to frequency of the carrier signal according to the result of the detector.
Optimizing parameters in deployed systems operating in delayed feedback real world environments
Optimizing parameters includes, during a time interval, rotating from setting a first parameter to a first value for a first time period, to setting the first parameter to a second value for a second time period such that the time interval includes multiple first time periods in which the first parameter is set to the first value sequenced with multiple second time periods in which the first parameter is set to the second value; obtaining, for the time interval, a first set of ratings corresponding to the first time periods and a second set of ratings corresponding to the second time periods; averaging, for the time interval, the first set of ratings to a first average rating and the second set of ratings to a second average rating; and correlating the first average rating to the first value and the second average rating to the second value.

METHODS AND APPARATUS TO DETERMINE A STATE OF A MEDIA PRESENTATION DEVICE
Methods and apparatus to determine a state of a media presentation device are disclosed. Example disclosed methods include generating a first set of weighted coefficients based on first audio received by first and second microphones at a first time. Example disclosed methods include generating a second set of weighted coefficients based on second audio received by the first and second microphones at a second time after the first time. Example disclosed methods include comparing the first set of coefficients and the second set of coefficients to generate a similarity value. Example disclosed methods include, when the similarity value satisfies a threshold, determining that the media presentation device is in a first state. Example disclosed methods include, when the similarity value does not satisfy the threshold, determining that the media presentation device is in a second state.

Compressed domain encoding apparatus and methods for use with media signals
Apparatus, methods, and articles of manufacture for encoding a compressed media stream are disclosed. Example method of watermarking a digital media signal disclosed herein include copying compressed audio packets associated with an audio stream included in a transport stream of the digital media signal into respective frames of compressed audio data to be watermarked to include media identification information. Such example methods can also include determining whether a composition of the transport stream has changed during copying of the compressed audio packets into the respective frames of the compressed audio data. Such example methods can further include, if the composition of the transport stream has changed, writing the frames of the compressed audio data to an output stream corresponding to the digital media signal without applying a watermark to the frames of the compressed audio data.
