OPERATING A WIRELESS RECEIVER
The present disclosure relates to a method for operating a wireless receiver to receive station signals from transmitting stations via communication channels and to emit a selected one of the station signals.
The method selects communication channels to transmit the selected one of the station signals, detects reception properties for the selected communication channels, detects position data of the wireless receiver, assigns the position data of the wireless receiver to the reception properties detected with regard to the selected communication channels,
determines a position-related received data set for the selected one of the station signals, and transmits the position-related received data set to a server device that stores the position-related received data set to be retrievable by the server device.

Systems and Methods for Controlling Media Content Access Parameters
Systems and methods enabling marketing and distribution of motion pictures and other media content by content creators and other content providers are described herein. A platform is provided by which a plurality of content providers can market and distribute media content to users. Information about activity of the users on the platform is obtained in relation to the item of media content or in relation to media content related to the item of media content. A request is received for an activity report comprising information related to a user demographic or a media content characteristic. Responsive to the activity report request, the activity report is provided to the content provider.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, ARTICLES OF MANUFACTURE, AND APPARATUS TO ESTIMATE AUDIENCE POPULATION
Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed to estimate an audience population. An example apparatus includes processor circuitry; characteristic identifier instructions to be executed by the processor circuitry to determine whether respective ones of respondents are associated with a characteristic; recapture probability estimator instructions to be executed by the processor circuitry to select a recapture probability of the respective ones of respondents; and population estimator instructions to be executed by the processor circuitry to in response to the recapture probability satisfying a recapture threshold, determine a population estimate having the characteristics based on a first model; and in response to the recapture probability not satisfying the recapture threshold, determine the population estimate having the characteristics based on a second model, the second model different than the first model.
System And Method For Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) Theft of Service (TOS) Detection and Prevention
Systems and methods for evaluating a customer premise equipment (CPE) device to determine whether it is being used to perpetuate theft of service (TOS). A computing system may be configured to collect raw data from a customer premise equipment (CPE) device associated with a subscriber account, determine TOS features based on the collected raw data, determine a risk score for the CPE based on the TOS features, determine whether the risk score exceeds a threshold value, and classifying the CPE device as a TOS device in response to determining that the risk score exceeds the threshold value.
AUDIENCE ATTENDANCE MONITORING THROUGH FACIAL RECOGNITION
In accordance with some implementations, a method for measuring viewership of media content is disclosed. The method is performed on a client system. The client system obtains identification information for individuals who have agreed to participate in a media viewership totals measurement study, detects a first user of the client system, determines media content being presented in proximity to the first user, automatically determines if the first user is an individual who has agreed to participate in the media viewership totals measurement study; and generates viewership data according to the determination.

METHOD FOR GAZE ANALYSIS AND APPARATUS FOR EXECUTING THE METHOD
A method for gaze analysis according to an embodiment is performed in a computing device including one or more processors and a memory storing one or more programs executed by the one or more processors. The method for gaze analysis may include acquiring gaze tracking information of each user for video content, calculating a degree of gaze concentration for each unit section of the video content based on the gaze tracking information, and calculating gaze concentration rate related information for the video content based on the degree of gaze concentration for each unit section.
DETERMINING A UNIFIED NUMBERING SYSTEM IDENTIFIER FOR A WORK
A method for use in a processing system includes receiving information regarding a work, where the information does not include a valid unified numbering system identifier that identifies a particular work of a plurality of works, and where the information includes one or more received attributes associated with the work. The method further includes obtaining a plurality of sets of attributes from one or more databases, which include a set of attributes associated with each work of the plurality of works. The method further includes determining whether a threshold number for a set of attributes of the plurality of sets of attributes matches corresponding ones of the one or more received attributes. When the threshold number does not match, the method further includes assigning a new unified numbering system identifier associated with the work and storing the new unified numbering system identifier in a database of the processing system.
