Control of a three-dimensional virtual broadcast presentation is disclosed. The three-dimensional virtual broadcast presentation may be generated based on dynamic information such as traffic information, weather information, or other information that may be featured on a three-dimensional virtual broadcast presentation. A signal generated by a control device maneuvered by a presenter and reflecting positional information of the control device is received. A view of the three-dimensional virtual broadcast presentation is manipulated in response to the received signal, the manipulation of the virtual broadcast presentation at least partially based on positional information of the control device.

A system and method for determining a precise location based on multimedia content. The method includes: analyzing a multimedia content element (MMCE), wherein the analysis further includes generating at least one signature to the MMCE; matching the generated at least one signature to at least one reference concept stored in a database, wherein each of the at least one stored concept is associated with a predetermined precise location; and identifying, based on the matching, a precise location depicted in the MMCE.

A method is provided herein for selecting a combination of a subset of weather stations from among a plurality of weather stations for estimating the weather at a specific location. The method may include: receiving an indication of a plurality of weather stations within a predefined area, where the predefined area includes a first location; determining, for each of the plurality of weather stations, a distance of the weather station from the first location; calculating, for a plurality of different combinations of subsets of the plurality of weather stations, an average distance of the weather stations of each of the plurality of different combinations from the first location; calculating, for each of the different combinations of subsets, an average location relative to the first location; and selecting a combination of a subset of the plurality of weather stations based on the average distance and the average location.

A system and method for enriching a concept database. The method includes determining, based on at least one signature of a first multimedia data element (MMDE) and signatures of a plurality of existing concepts in the concept database, at least one first concept among the plurality of existing concepts, wherein each of the at least one first concept matches a portion of the at least one signature of the first MMDE; generating a reduced representation of the first MMDE, wherein generating the reduced representation further comprises removing the portion of the first MMDE matching the at least one first concept; comparing the reduced representation of the first MMDE to signatures representing a plurality of second MMDEs to determine a plurality of matching second MMDEs; generating, based on the reduced representation of the first MMDE and the plurality of matching second MMDEs, at least one second concept; and adding the generated at least one second concept to the concept database.

The method includes determining, based on at least one signature of a first multimedia data element (MMDE) and signatures of a plurality of third concepts stored in the concept database, at least one matching first concept among the plurality of third concepts; generating a reduced representation of the first MMDE; comparing the reduced representation of the first MMDE to signatures representing a plurality of second MMDEs to determine a plurality of matching MMDEs among the plurality of second MMDEs; generating, based on the reduced representation of the first MMDE and the signatures representing the plurality of matching MMDEs, a second concept; and generating at least one context based on the second concept and the plurality of third concepts, wherein each context includes at least one common pattern among the second concept and at least one of the plurality of third concepts.
