Scientific System and Method for Optimizing Television Advertising
A scientific system and methods are disclosed for optimizing television (e.g., “CTV” and “OTT”) advertising and related expenditure to maximize efficiency and return on investment (“ROI’) for advertisers. The scientific system comprises an initial-feedback engine that develops and refines creatives or outcomes by creating and using an artificial intelligence (“AI”) engine that creates an initial feedback loop from social media platforms and subsequently uses an intelligent advertisement-selection engine that takes the highest performing advertising on the social media platforms and directs or imports them for connected television or over-the-top advertising. The system includes a performance engine that optimizes performance of the connected television and over-the-top advertising and then moves the winning combination of a creative or outcome resulting from the application inventory, the audience segment, the part of day, the frequency or the like to linear television purchase actions.
BROADCASTING SIGNAL TRANSMISSION APPARATUS, BROADCASTING SIGNAL RECEIVING APPARATUS, BROADCASTING SIGNAL TRANSMISSION METHOD AND BROADCASTING SIGNAL RECEIVING METHOD
The present invention provides a method for transmitting a broadcasting signal. A method for transmitting a broadcasting signal according to the present invention suggests a system capable of supporting a next generation broadcasting service in an environment which supports a next generation hybrid broadcast using a terrestrial broadcast network and an internet network. Furthermore, in an environment which supports a next generation hybrid broadcast, suggested is an efficient signaling scheme which can embrace both a terrestrial broadcast network and an internet network.
Systems and methods for media packaging
The invention relates to a method for packaging media and data for transmission over a broadband communications network link for display at a terminal destination. Features of the method included creating desired media segments for transmission to the terminal destination and for creating targeting information, for example in whole or in part in the form of metadata, for transmission to the terminal destination. Other features include packaging the created media segments and the created targeting information in a single package and unpacking the single package for display of the targeted media at the terminal destination. In another aspect, the invention can provide a method for unpacking media and data for display at a terminal destination implementing, at the terminal destination, receiving a single package containing media segments and instructions regarding handling of the media segments, quickly unpacking the media segments and the instructions from the single package and, based on the unpacked instructions, assembling one or more of the media segments for display at the terminal destination.
Receiving device, and signaling device
A system for generating, transmitting, providing and/or receiving signaling.
Receiving device, and signaling device
A system for generating, transmitting, providing and/or receiving signaling.
Generating unified metadata for a plurality of distribution platforms
Provided are a system and method for generating unified metadata for a plurality of distribution platforms. One or more processors in a broadcast provider system receive a linear media feed from a source device, and based on one or more inbound triggers associated with the received linear media feed, determines a plurality of segments of the received linear media feed. A unified metadata file comprising a universal schema of a plurality of category nodes and attributes for a plurality of distribution platforms is generated based on at least a programming schedule of the received linear media feed and an asset distribution interface (ADI) specification required by each of the plurality of distribution platforms. Further, a unified package is generated comprising the plurality of segments of the linear media feed as a broadcast media feed and the unified metadata file, and transmitted to the plurality of distribution platforms via a communication network.

Shoe with Knit Upper Having Thermoplastic Yarn Regions
A shoe includes a knit upper and a sole secured to the knit upper. The knit upper is formed with a first type of knit structure knitted with a thermoplastic yarn in a first area. The first area is in at least the toe region of the knit upper. In a second area including at least the medial and lateral metatarsal regions of the knit upper, the knit upper is formed with a second type of knit structure knitted with a second yarn having a higher melting temperature than the thermoplastic yarn. A rear boundary line of the first area and a forward boundary line of the second area define a boundary line between the first and second areas.

System for distributing metadata embedded in video
A method, non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, and reception apparatus for extracting metadata, and an information providing apparatus for providing the metadata. The method for extracting metadata includes processing, by circuitry of the reception apparatus, content that includes the metadata embedded therein. The metadata is embedded as a watermark in a first portion of a video frame of the content. The circuitry determines symbol values of the watermark from the video frame based on luminance values in pixels of the first portion of the video frame of the content to extract the metadata. At least one of the luminance values is less than 16.
