RXLOS deglitch apparatus and method
A RXLOS deglitch apparatus for a receiver is provided. The RXLOS deglitch apparatus includes a sampler, an edge detecting unit and a finite state machine. The sampler receives a recovered clock, and samples a RXLOS signal according to the recovered clock. Consequently, a sampled RXLOS signal is generated. The edge detecting unit receives the RXLOS signal. When a logic level of the RXLOS signal is changed, an edge detection signal is activated by the edge detecting unit. The finite state machine receives the edge detection signal and the sampled RXLOS signal, generates an edge rest signal to control the edge detecting unit, and outputs a filtered RXLOS signal.
Resource allocation in PON networks via wave-front multiplexing and de-multiplexing
A data communication system comprises a wave-front multiplexer configured to wave-front multiplex first electronic signals into second electronic signals. The data communication system further comprises an electronic-to-optical converter configured to convert a third electronic signal carrying information associated with the second electronic signals into a first optical signal; and an optical transferring module configured to split the first optical signal into second optical signals, wherein each of the second optical signals carries the same data as the first optical signal carries. The data communication system further comprises optical-to-electronic converters configured to convert the second optical signals into fourth electronic signals; and wave-front demultiplexers each configured to wave-front demultiplex one of the fourth electronic signals into fifth electronic signals equivalent to the first electronic signals respectively.
Display device using a demultiplexer circuit
A display device is disclosed to include a display panel including a plurality of data lines, a plurality of gate lines, and a plurality of pixels coupled to the data lines and gate lines. The data lines include first and second data lines, and the pixels include first and second color pixels. The display device also includes a data driving circuit to generate data voltages through a plurality of output channels, a gate driving circuit coupled to the gate lines, and a timing controller to generate control signals to the data driving circuit and the gate driving circuit. The display device further includes a demultiplexer switching circuit with first demux switches to supply, when turned on, the data voltages from the output channels to the first data lines, and second demux switches to supply, when turned on, the data voltages from the output channels to the second data lines.
Method of controlling TDD Tx/Rx switching timing in cloud radio access network
Provided is a method for controlling a time division duplexing (TDD) Tx/Rx switching timing in a cloud radio access network (CRAN) that can finely control a switching timing between transmission and reception of TDD signals with an additional component added to a digital unit (DU) and a radio unit (RU) in the CRAN.
Techniques for enabling and disabling of a serializer/deserializer
Methods, systems, and devices for techniques for enabling and disabling of a serializer/deserializer are described. In some examples, a system may be configured to identify information to be transmitted by a serializer/deserializer over a communication channel and activate, based on identifying the information to be transmitted, both a transmission component and a reception component of the serializer/deserializer that are coupled with the communication channel. Additionally or alternatively, in some examples, a system may be configured to identify information to be received by a serializer/deserializer over a communication channel and activate, based on identifying the information to be received, both a transmission component and a reception component of the serializer/deserializer that are coupled with the communication channel.
Hierarchical packing of syntax elements
A method operates within an integrated circuit device having a plurality of processing lanes. The method determines a first number of packs among one or more first packs associated with a first processing lane of the plurality of processing lanes, associates the first number of packs with a first used field of the first processing lane, determines a second number of packs among one or more second packs associated with a second processing lane of the plurality of processing lanes, and associates the second number of packs with a second used field of the second processing lane.
Digital broadcasting system and method of processing data
A digital broadcasting system and a method of processing data are disclosed. Herein, additional encoding is performed on mobile service data, which are then transmitted, thereby providing robustness in the processed mobile service data, so that the mobile service data can respond more strongly against fast and frequent channel changes. The method of processing data in a transmitting system includes receiving mobile service data, encapsulating the received mobile service data to a transport stream (TS) packet, and outputting the encapsulated mobile service data as a mobile service data packet, and multiplexing a main service data packet including main service data and the encapsulated mobile service data packet, thereby transmitting the multiplexed data packets to at least one transmitter located in a remote site.
Distributed multimedia system for IP networks
A method, system, and computer-readable media are provided for facilitating communication of multimedia data across a distributed network. When the invention is employed for facilitating intra-communication between mobile network carriers, the invention can be configured to utilize a plurality of distribution sites. A first distribution site of a sender can receive an item of multimedia data and an identifier from a sender. The first distribution site may then transmit the identifier to a look-up server in order for the look-up server to identify the location of a recipient's distribution site. Once the look-up server identifies the recipient's distribution site for the first distribution site, the first distribution site can transmit the multimedia data to the recipient's distribution site.
Secure combined interoperable multiplexing
Systems and methods for combining a plurality of transport streams into a single transport stream for transmission to, e.g., a single frequency network via a satellite. Embodiments provide receiving a plurality of original, e.g., MPEG-compliant, data streams, where each original data stream has its own timing information, combining the plurality of original data streams into a single combined data stream which is also, e.g., MPEG compliant, modulating the single combined data stream for uplink to a satellite, receiving a downlink transmission from the satellite, where the downlink transmission includes the single combined data stream, de-combining the single combined data stream into the plurality of original data streams, and passing respective original data steams to, e.g., one or more DVB-T modulators for broadcast into a single frequency network.
Low-complexity communication terminal with enhanced receive diversity
A method includes, in a receiver, receiving a signal carrying data using multiple antennas, so as to produce multiple respective input signals. The input signals are divided into two or more subsets. The input signals within each of the subsets are combined in a first diversity-combining stage, to produce respective intermediate signals. In a second diversity-combining stage, the intermediate signals are combined to produce an output signal. The output signal is decoded so as to reconstruct the data carried by the received signal.
