FOLDING SAUNA ENCLOSURE
A portable, personal therapy chamber for provision of radiation therapy. The therapy chamber includes a pair of telescopically positionable units that are lightweight and easily portable by a single user. The therapy chamber is configured for use by a single person lying generally prone on a surface. The units are formed from a plurality of pivotably coupled panels that are foldable in a first direction to a rolled up, tube-like storage configuration and unfoldable in a second direction to an arched formation or use configuration. The units, in the use configuration, are disposed to overlie the user and include a plurality of emitters that direct infrared energy toward the user's body.
ANTI-MICROBIAL IRRADIATION FOR PERCUTANEOUS OSSEOINTEGRATED PROSTHESES (POPs)
An osseointegrated fixture of a percutaneous osseointegrated prosthesis (POPs) anchors directly into a bone of a residual limb within an amputation stump. By anchoring directly into the bone, the POPs provides improved mobility, comfort, and function for an amputee, but an interface between an opening in the skin and the osseointegrated fixture, which allows the anchoring directly into the bone, is prone to infection by microbes. An anti-microbial device can be attached to and/or embedded within an extracorporeal portion of the osseointegrated fixture to irradiate at least a portion on the interface with at least one wavelength of light selected for its antimicrobial effects.
CATHETER AND LIGHT IRRADIATION SYSTEM
A catheter includes a long tubular main body, a window on a side of the main body and transmits light in a predetermined outward direction, and an opening on the side of the main body, the opening being configured to release a fluid. A direction in which the fluid is released from the opening intersects the predetermined outward direction in which light is emitted from the window.
RHINITIS TREATMENT DEVICE
The embodiment discloses a rhinitis treatment device including a frame covering a nose; a substrate disposed inside the frame; and a plurality of light emitting devices disposed on the substrate, wherein the substrate includes: a pair of first regions spaced apart from each other in a first direction to face both sides of the nose; and a second region disposed between the pair of first regions and extending in a second direction from a tip of the nose toward a root of the nose, and wherein the plurality of light emitting devices includes a plurality of first light emitting devices disposed in the pair of first regions.
LIGHT THERAPY DEVICE
A light therapy device for the disinfection treatment of fungal, bacterial and viral infections that can be applied in real time to both living and inanimate things, inside and outside the body is provided. The light therapy device has a base unit and a diffuser cap releasably connected to the base unit, the diffuser cap has a reflector element that varies depending on the shape and size of the area to be disinfected. The main parts of the diffuser cap are: a reflector element, a connecting element and a locking element. The reflector element is positioned above the light source, directing its light to the area to be treated, its shape is adapted to the area to be treated. The spectral range of the light therapy device is between the light wavelengths of 401 and 490 nanometres, and its light intensity is between 1 and 2000 J/cm2, depending on the area to be disinfected and the degree of infection.
SUBLINGUAL ULTRA VIOLET WAND DEVICE
A sublingual, ultra violet (UV) light device is disclosed. The light device is comprised of a cold cathode ray tube and a light emitting diode (LED) and a mouth piece. Embodiments of the device can include an onboard controller, a handle and can be powered by a multitude of sources. The light device combines light from a cold cathode ray tube with light from LEDs to enhance the various wavelength exposures to the user. An object of the invention is to enhance conventional cold cathode ray tube immunotherapy with complementary LED light.
DEVICE AND METHOD TO ACTIVATE CELL STRUCTURES BY MEANS OF ELECTROMAGNETIC ENERGY
A stimulation device includes an energy source; an electronics unit; an actuator that is coupled with the electronics unit and/or the energy source. The electronics unit includes a controller. The energy source, the electronics unit and the actuator are arranged in a housing. A fixing unit which is coupled with the housing and affixes the stimulation device on a heart or in a heart. The actuator emits electromagnetic waves for the stimulation of genetically manipulated tissue, and the controller controls the stimulation of the tissue by way of the electromagnetic waves of the actuator.
Light-emitting capsule treatment tool
A light emitting type capsule treatment tool for irradiating light with a specific wavelength required for photoimmunotherapy, includes a power receiving coil, a magnetic member, a light emitting member and a capsule. The power receiving coil is formed by winding a conductive wire and configured to receive electric power supplied from an external transmission antenna via a magnetic flux. The magnetic member is placed on an inner circumference of the power receiving coil. The light emitting member is configured to be supplied with electric power from the power receiving coil and to emit the light with the specific wavelength. The capsule houses the power receiving coil, the magnetic member and the light emitting member.
Skin treatment personal care device and method of manufacture
A skin treatment personal care with a handle having a gripping portion at one end and a head portion at an opposing end. The head portion includes a heat dissipating housing having a top surface and defines a pocket. The heat dissipating housing is made of a material having a thermal diffusivity greater than 10 W/m K. A light emitting diode adapted to provide one or more skin benefits is positioned within in the pocket. A window forms a water tight seal covering the LED.
INTRAORAL PHOTOTHERAPY DEVICE
An intraoral phototherapy device is provided that improves tissue illumination. Oral tissue illumination is particularly difficult inside of the teeth. That is, it is particularly difficult to illuminate the roof of the mouth, floor of the mouth, sides of the tongue, and/or ventral surface of the tongue. The intraoral phototherapy device improves illumination of these tissues using a bifurcated central projection that receives a portion of the tongue. An intraoral phototherapy device is also provided that includes a breathing tube to improve patient breathing and vocalization for enabling illumination of tissues at the back of the Zo mouth. An intraoral phototherapy device is additionally provided that allows for separate control of light emission from different areas of the intraoral phototherapy device.
