IMPROVED APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRACKING SHORT MESSAGES OF TALK GROUP MEMBERS
20170290032 · 2017-10-05 ·

A subscriber device joins a talk group and receives, via a control channel, parameters defining a plurality of assigned downlink data transmission periods associated with the talk group on a downlink short data channel. The subscriber device determines from the parameters when a next downlink short data transmission for devices in the talk group will be transmitted on the downlink short data channel. The subscriber device switches to the downlink short data channel during the next transmission period.

SYNCHRONIZATION SIGNAL BLOCK AND REMAINING MINIMUM SYSTEM INFORMATION INTEGRATION IN UNLICENSED SYSTEMS
20220053488 · 2022-02-17 ·

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station and user equipment (UE) may implement techniques to integrate remaining minimum system information (RMSI) and synchronization signal block (SSB) delivery in a shared radio frequency spectrum band. For example, the base station may transmit SSBs and corresponding RMSI transmissions in a same transmission opportunity (TxOP) and configure resource allocations to reduce or eliminate transmission gaps. For example, the SSBs and the corresponding RMSI transmissions may be transmitted after a single, successful listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure. For each SSB, the associated RMSI control resources and RMSI shared channel resources may be nearby or continuous in time such that the SSB, control resource set, and the RMSI downlink shared channel signal are transmitted as a package.

High priority service sending and receiving method and device in direct mode

The receiving method includes: after sending a voice frame in a voice call sending state, a user terminal receiving and detecting a priority frame in another time slot with respect to the time slot occupied by the voice call; and if the priority frame is detected, then stopping the voice call and receiving a high priority service frame in the other time slot. Using the present invention can enable an interphone in a transmitting state in a direct mode to send or receive a high priority service as well.

TDMA access method and device based on multiple access points

The present invention relates to a TDMA access method and device based on multiple access points. According to the problems that the existing method cannot simultaneously satisfy the demands of timeliness and reliability in actual industrial application and has low resource utilization rate, the present invention takes full consideration of the transmission characteristics and industrial automation application characteristics of wireless networks, and provides a TDMA access method and device based on multiple access points. The main ideas of the method in the present invention are: the multi-access point redundant communication manner is adopted to improve system reliability, beacon frames of multiple access points are utilized to perform time synchronization so as to improve synchronization precision, confirmation messages are fed back with regard to reliable access points to reduce the number of retransmissions, and a modularized multi-access point device design method is adopted to lower the difficulties of device maintenance and management.

Methods and apparatus for providing enhanced optical networking service and performance which are particularly advantageous in terms of low cost and use of existing infrastructure, access control techniques, and components. In the exemplary embodiment, current widespread deployment and associated low cost of Ethernet-based systems are leveraged through use of an Ethernet CSMA/CD MAC in the optical domain on a passive optical network (PON) system. Additionally, local networking services are optionally provided to the network units on the PON since each local receiver can receive signals from all other users. An improved symmetric coupler arrangement provides the foregoing functionality at low cost. The improved system architecture also allows for fiber failure protection which is readily implemented at low cost and with minimal modification.

Method and apparatus for aggregating carriers in wireless communication systems

The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for aggregating carriers in wireless communication systems. In the method, a first carrier is set up, and a second carrier is added in addition to the first carrier. In addition, the first carrier is a time division duplex (TDD) carrier for which an uplink subframe and a downlink subframe are positioned at different times in a frame, and the second carrier is a carrier only for a downlink that consists of downlink subframes.

Method and apparatus for transmitting ACK/NACK in a TDD-based wireless communication system

A method of configuring a positive acknowledgement (ACK) or negative acknowledgement (NACK) in a wireless communication system based on time division duplex (TDD) in which M, M=4, downlink subframes are associated with an uplink subframe. The method is performed by a user equipment receiving a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) and a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The user equipment receives at least one downlink transport block in the M downlink subframes from a first serving cell. The user equipment determines ACK/NACK states {HARQ-ACK(1), HARQ-ACK(2), HARQ-ACK(3), HARQ-ACK(4)} for the first serving cell. The use equipment determines an ACK/NACK response based on the ACK/NACK states.
