Uplink frequency hopping in unlicensed frequency band
This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for narrowband communications using frequency hopping in an unlicensed frequency band. In some implementations, a base station (BS) may transmit downlink (DL) data using a sequence of DL hopping frames on a corresponding sequence of unique hopping channels associated with a DL frequency hopping pattern. In some implementations, each user equipment (UE) of one or more UEs may transmit uplink (UL) data using a sequence of UL hopping frames on a corresponding sequence of unique hopping channels associated with a different UL frequency hopping pattern.
Narrow bandwidth part transitions for reduced capability devices
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Wireless communications systems may support implementation of narrow bandwidth parts (NBWPs). For example, a NBWP may be established over a reduced bandwidth to support user equipment (UEs) with reduced complexity features (e.g., such as UEs with reduced bandwidth capabilities). Wireless communications systems may provide for UE transitioning to a NBWP (e.g., after initial cell search), as well as for UE transitioning amongst NBWPs (e.g., subsequent transitions to other NBWPs after an initial transition to a NBWP after initial cell search). For example, a UE may initially transition to a NBWP (e.g., transition to monitor the NBWP for reference signals or to utilize the NBWP for uplink/downlink communications) to support reduced bandwidth capabilities of the UE. Subsequently, the UE may transition amongst other NBWPs for network load balancing, UE frequency hopping gain, etc.
Method for performing uplink transmission in wireless communication system, and device therefor
The present specification relates to a method for performing uplink transmission in a wireless communication system. More specifically, a method performed by a terminal comprises the steps of: transmitting, to a base station, a plurality of PRACH preambles related to a plurality of transmission units indicating a physical layer resource set; receiving, from the base station, a plurality of random access responses (RARs) corresponding to the plurality of PRACH preambles, wherein each of the plurality of RARs comprises a temporary cell (TC)-RNTI; and transmitting, to the base station, a plurality of uplink signals on the basis of the plurality of RARs, wherein the uplink signals comprise information on overlapped TC-RNTIs.
Joint detection for primary synchronization signal (PSS) and other synchronization signal symbols in target cell search
Aspects are described for a user equipment (UE) comprising a transceiver configured to enable wireless communication with a serving cell and a processor communicatively coupled to the transceiver. The processor is configured to determine a reference signal sequence that comprises a primary synchronization signal (PSS) sequence and a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) sequence of a target cell. The processor is further configured to receive a signal sequence from the target cell and calculate an overall correlation value based on the reference signal sequence and the received signal sequence. The processor is further configured to determine that the overall correlation value is above a threshold and detect a synchronization signal block (SSB) of the target cell based on the received signal sequence. Finally, the processor is configured to establish a wireless connection with the target cell based on the SSB.

Methods and apparatus in a fifth-generation wireless communications, including an example method, in a wireless device, that includes receiving a downlink signal comprising an uplink access configuration index, using the uplink access configuration index to identify an uplink access configuration from among a predetermined plurality of uplink access configurations, and transmitting to the wireless communications network according to the identified uplink access configuration. The example method further includes, in the same wireless device, receiving, in a first subframe, a first Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) transmission formatted according to a first numerology and receiving, in a second subframe, a second OFDM transmission formatted according to a second numerology, the second numerology differing from the first numerology. Variants of this method, corresponding apparatuses, and corresponding network-side methods and apparatuses are also disclosed.
Indication method, detection method, and related device
Implementations of the present disclosure provide an indication method, a detection method, and a related device. In the present disclosure, a network device indicates to user equipment, within what frequency domain ranges there is no SSB transmission, thereby preventing the user equipment from performing useless searches in the frequency domain ranges in which there is no SSB.

Systems and methods are provided for decentralized rail signaling and positive train control. A decentralized train control system may include a plurality of wayside units, configured for placement on or near tracks in a railway network, and one or more train-mounted units, each configured for use in a train operating in a railway network that support use of the decentralized train control system. Each train-mounted unit may configured to receive communicate with any wayside unit and/or train-mounted unit that comes within range, with the communicating including use of ultra-wideband (UWB) signals, and for generating control information based on the UWB signals, for use in controlling one or more functions associated with operation of the train.
Group common DCI for CLI measurement and reporting
This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for grouping common DCI for CLI measurement and reporting. In a first aspect, a UE may receive DCI that is common to a group of UEs that includes the UE. The DCI may be configured to trigger at least one of an SRS transmission or a CLI measurement. The UE may transmit the SRS transmission and/or report the CLI measurement based on the DCI that is common to the group of UEs. In a second aspect, a base station may transmit at least one DCI that is common to the group of UEs to trigger the at least one of the SRS transmission or the CLI report for the group of UEs. The base station may receive the CLI report from at least a subset of UEs in the group of UEs.
Efficient transmission of a response signal for a random access preamble transmitted from legacy or extension carrier capable devices
In order to provide a transmission device and transmission method with which a response signal for random access preamble transmitted from a preamble transmission device is efficiently transmitted, setting unit in base station sets a first resource candidate group, which enables terminal capable of receiving a latch response transmitted by demodulation reference signal (DMRS) transmission to be selected, and a second resource candidate group, which enables terminal incapable of receiving a latch response transmitted by DMRS transmission but capable of receiving a latch response transmitted by cell-specific reference signal (CRS) transmission to be selected. Control unit selects DMRS transmission as the latch response transmission method when a resource in which latch preamble has been received is included in the first candidate group, but selects CRS transmission as the latch response transmission method when the resource is included in the second resource candidate group.
