Method and apparatus for receiving a synchronization signal

The present invention discloses a method for a terminal to receive a synchronization signal in a wireless communication system. Particularly, the method includes the steps of receiving a synchronization block including a primary synchronization signal (PSS), a secondary synchronization signal (SSS), and a physical broadcasting channel (PBCH) and receiving a DMRS (demodulation reference signal) via resource region in which the PBCH is received. In this case, an index of the synchronization block can be determined in consideration of a sequence of the DMRS.

Method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving downlink channel

The present disclosure discloses a method for receiving a downlink signal by a UE in a wireless communication system. Particularly, the method may include receiving a synchronization signal block (SSB) including a primary synchronization signal (PSS), a secondary synchronization signal (SSS), and a physical broadcasting channel (PBCH), and obtaining an indicator indicating a subcarrier spacing for the downlink channel from the PBCH, and receiving the downlink signal on the basis of the subcarrier spacing. The indicator may indicate a different subcarrier spacing according to a frequency band in which the UE operates.

Narrowband communications in unlicensed frequency band

This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for narrowband communications using frequency hopping in an unlicensed frequency band. In some aspects, a base station (BS) and a user equipment (UE) may communicate with one another over a sequence of unique frequency sub-bands of a frequency hopping pattern. In some instances, the BS and the UE may switch from a current frequency sub-band to another frequency sub-band based on a number of unsuccessful attempts to gain access to the current frequency sub-band. In some other instances, the BS and the UE may communicate data using configured grant (CG) resources based on a number of unsuccessful attempts to gain access to the current frequency sub-band.

SYNCHRONIZATION SIGNAL BLOCK (SSB) MEASUREMENT ACCURACY TESTING
20230121806 · 2023-04-20 ·

In a general aspect, a user equipment (UE) in a cellular communications network receives a first Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) corresponding to a first cell of the cellular communications network, and a second SSB corresponding to a second cell of the cellular communications network. The UE clarifies a first cell identifier (ID) of the first cell. The UE clarifies a second cell ID of the second cell. The UE determines an SSB measurement accuracy value using the first cell ID and the second cell ID.

Grouping of synchronization signal block subsets from different base stations in a single timing advance group

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a first base station, a synchronization signal block (SSB) based at least in part on a determination that the SSB is included in a timing advance group (TAG) that includes a first subset of SSBs of a first set of SSBs associated with the first base station and a second subset of SSBs of a second set of SSBs associated with a second base station. The UE may communicate with the first base station based at least in part on the SSB. Numerous other aspects are described.
