Communication method, communications apparatus, and communications system
Embodiments of this application provide a communication method, a communications apparatus, and a communications system, to determine a physical resource block (PRB) grid when a center frequency of a synchronization signal (SS) is inconsistent with a center frequency of a carrier. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal, an SS from a network device; determining, by the terminal, a first PRB grid based on the SS; receiving, by the terminal, first indication information from the network device, where the first indication information is used to indicate a first frequency offset between the first PRB grid and a second PRB grid; and determining, by the terminal, the second PRB grid based on the first PRB grid and the first frequency offset.
SEARCH SPACE OVERBOOKING AND PRUNING
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some cases, due to blind decoding and channel estimation (CE) limits, one or more user equipment (UE) specific search sets may be pruned for blind decoding and/or CE purposes. For instance, after hashing a set of common decoding candidates to control channel elements (CCEs) within the control region, the UE specific search sets may be pruned so as to conform to the blind decode limitation, since a common search space has already occupied a portion of the total blind decode limit. Following pruning, the UE may hash the sets of UE-specific decoding candidates associated with the one or more UE specific search sets to CCEs within the control region. The UE may further prune UE specific search sets, based on CE limits, while reusing CE for overlapping hashed locations.
Method for indication of synchronization signal block
Disclosed is a method and apparatus for generating information indicating a synchronization signal (SS) block. A method comprises: determining a frequency resource associated with a wireless device; determining, by a base station and based on the determined frequency resource, whether to add or omit a first bitmap indicating a plurality of groups in which at least one synchronization signal (SS) block is transmitted: generating, based on the determining to add the first bitmap, system information comprising a parameter comprising: the first bitmap; and a second bitmap indicating a position of one or more transmission SS blocks in each of the plurality of groups; and transmitting, based on the position, the one or more transmission SS blocks each comprising a Physical Broadcast Channel (PBCH) and a synchronization signal.
Method for transmitting downlink control information, terminal device and network device
A method for transmitting downlink control information, terminal device and network device are provided. The method includes: a terminal device determines a plurality of candidate resource sets for transmitting first control information; the terminal device detects the first control information sent by a network device in the plurality of candidate resource sets; the terminal device determines a target resource set in the plurality of candidate resource sets according to a detection result of the first control information; the terminal device determines a target control channel resource corresponding to the target resource set according to the target resource set and a first mapping relationship, wherein the first mapping relationship is used for indicating a corresponding relationship between the plurality of candidate resource sets and a plurality of control channel resources; and the terminal device detects second control information sent by the network device in the target control channel resource.
Indication method, detection method and related device
Provided in an implementation of the present disclosure are an indication method, a detection method, and a related device. In the present disclosure, a network device prevents a user equipment from performing a useless search in a frequency domain range in which a synchronization signal block (SSB) does not exist by means of indicating to the user equipment a frequency domain location of the SSB in a certain frequency domain range of the user equipment.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING SYNCHRONIZATION SIGNAL IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
An operation method of an electronic device including: dividing a cell search period into a plurality of partial detection ranges based on the number of partial buffers and a size of the partial buffer; obtaining a first correlation detection information based on a first synchronization signal, while temporarily storing first signals in a first partial buffer among the partial buffers, in which the first signals are received during a first partial detection range among the plurality of partial detection ranges; and obtaining a second correlation detection information for the first signals based on the first correlation detection information and a second synchronization signal, during a second partial detection range among the plurality of partial detection ranges and obtaining the first correlation detection information for second signals based on the first synchronization signal, while temporarily storing the second signals received during the second partial detection range in a second partial buffer.
Periodic channel state information reporting for time division duplex (TDD) carrier aggregation systems
Technology for a user equipment (UE) operable to report periodic channel state information (CSI) to an eNodeB is disclosed. The UE can determine a reporting period (N.sub.pd) of a serving cell of the UE. The UE can determine a Time-Division Duplex (TDD) uplink-downlink (UL-DL) configuration of a primary cell of the UE. The UE can encode multiple periodic CSI reports for transmission to the eNodeB using a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) on the primary cell according to the reporting period N.sub.pd.
TECHNIQUES AND APPARATUSES FOR DOWNLINK CONTROL CHANNEL DESIGN USING A TOP TO BOTTOM SEARCH SPACE
User equipment associated with a legacy network may utilize a bottom-to-top search technique to identify relevant control channel samples. Generating a control channel that is configured for the bottom-to-top search technique may lead to poor performance in a single-carrier waveform, which may be disadvantageous as networks move toward New Radio. In some aspects, described herein, a base station generates a control channel that is configured to minimize gaps in the control channel, and a user equipment performs a top-to-bottom search technique to identify relevant control channel samples. By using the top-to-bottom search technique, degradation of single-carrier waveforms is reduced and efficiency is improved.
Maximum time for unlicensed secondary cell detection, measurements and activation in licensed assisted access
Appropriate timing may beneficial in various communication systems. For example, Long Term Evolution Advanced (LTE-A) and LTE Licensed Assisted Access (LAA) may benefit from appropriate maximum time determinations for unlicensed secondary cell (SCell) detection, measurements, and activation. A method can include determining a window for a reference signal. The method can also include communicating based on the determined window. For example, the method can include transmitting the reference signal based on the determined window. Alternatively, or in addition, the method can include providing measurement reports based on the reference signal received within the window.
USER TERMINAL AND RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD
To prevent occurrence of delay and/or increase in power consumption at the time of access to a network in future radio communication systems, one aspect of a user terminal according to the present disclosure includes: a receiving section that receives a synchronization signal block including a broadcast channel in a certain sync raster; and a control section that controls, based on certain bit information of a certain information element included in the synchronization signal block, a sync raster to be detected by variably interpreting bit information included in at least one of the certain information element and another information element.
