Signaling of synchronization block patterns
The present disclosure describes various examples of a method, an apparatus, and a computer readable medium for signaling synchronization block patterns in wireless communications (e.g., 5th Generation New Radio (5G NR)). For example, one of the methods described may include receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a message including information of a configuration. The configuration includes at least a group of repetitions of one or more synchronization signal (SS) blocks in an SS burst set, and the repetitions of the one or more SS blocks are configured into at least two groups. The method may further include determining, by the UE, which group of the at least two groups to search for during a synchronous neighbor cell search based on the information and at least one condition at the UE.
ADAPTIVE RADIO FREQUENCY COMMUNICATION
There is set forth herein, in one embodiment, receiving, by a transceiver of a UE device an aggregate signal stream, the aggregate signal stream including an aggregate of base station downlink signal streams from a plurality of base stations; processing the aggregate signal stream and detecting, from the processing of the aggregate signal stream, a set of base stations in communication range of the UE device, wherein the set of base stations include a current serving base station and a scanning base station; determining, from the processing of the aggregate signal stream, a Doppler shifted center frequency of a downlink scanning signal stream received from the scanning base station; and enhancing, in dependence on the Doppler shifted center frequency, the downlink scanning signal stream associated to the scanning base station.
TECHNIQUES FOR REFERENCE SIGNAL INTERFERENCE CANCELING OR RATE MATCHING
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, information that identifies an association between a first cell of a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second cell of a second RAT. The UE may perform a measurement for the first cell. The UE may determine that the measurement for the first cell satisfies a threshold value. The UE may perform an interference canceling operation for a reference signal of the second cell, or a de-weighting operation for one or more resource elements in which the reference signal interferes, based at least in part on the determination that the measurement for the first cell satisfies the threshold value and the association between the first cell and the second cell. Numerous other aspects are described.
SIGNAL TRANSMISSION METHOD AND DEVICE, AND COMPUTER STORAGE MEDIUM
Disclosed are a signal transmission method and device, and a computer storage, including that: a base station sends or receives a signal within a sweep time interval, an access signal time interval, which is comprised of sweep time blocks sweep time blocks. The access signal time interval includes a downlink access signal time interval and an uplink access signal time interval. The base station sends the signal over the downlink access signal time interval, and receives the signal over the uplink access signal time interval. A terminal sends or receives a signal within the access signal time interval which is comprised of the sweep time blocks. The terminal sends the signal over the uplink access signal time interval, or receives the signal over the downlink access signal time interval.
ADAPTING SEARCH, MEASUREMENT, AND LOOP TRACKING PERIODICITIES IN NEW RADIO COMMUNICATIONS
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for adapting search, measurement, and loop tracking periodicities in new radio communications. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes determining, based on one or more parameters, a first periodicity to perform a search to detect one or more component carriers (CCs), cells, beams, or a combination thereof; a second periodicity to perform measurement of one or more cells, beams, or both in one more detected CCs; and a third periodicity to perform loop tracking to monitor a downlink serving quality, an uplink serving beam quality, or both of a cell. The method may further includes performing the search at the determined first periodicity, measurement at the determined second periodicity, and loop tracking at the determined third periodicity.
Spreading and precoding in OFDM
An OFDM transmitter spreads original data symbols with a complex-valued spreading matrix derived from a discrete Fourier transform. Spread data symbols are mapped to OFDM subcarriers. Spreading and mapping are configured to produce a transmitted spread-OFDM signal with a low peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) and orthogonal code spaces. In MIMO systems, the complex-valued spreading matrix can comprise a MIMO precoding matrix, and the code spaces can comprise MIMO subspaces. In Cooperative-MIMO, a combination of low code-space cross correlation and low PAPR can be achieved.
CELL IDENTIFICATION FOR RADIO ACCESS NETWORKS
There is disclosed a method of operating a network node in a radio access network. The method includes determining an identity associated to a second network node based on received SS/PBCH block transmission received from the second network node and based on a determined time shift of the SS/PBCH block transmission relative to a slot structure. The disclosure also pertains to related devices and methods.
EXHAUST GAS HEAT EXCHANGER
An exhaust gas heat exchanger may include a tube bundle and a housing through which a coolant is flowable. The tube bundle may include a plurality of exhaust gas-conducting tubes held in a first tube base and a second tube base. The housing may enclose the tube bundle and may have face ends delimited by the first tube base and the second tube base. The housing may include a coolant inlet arranged in a region of the second tube base and a coolant outlet arranged in a region of the first tube base such that the coolant flows in counter flow relative to the exhaust gas. A plurality of coolant bypass passages may be arranged between the tube bundle and the housing. At least a subset of the plurality of coolant bypass passages may be at least partly blocked by an inlay structured and arranged to steer a coolant flow.
SSB CHANNEL CANCELATION
A synchronization signal block (SSB) transmitted by a neighbor base station may interfere with a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmitted by a serving base station. A user equipment (UE) that receives both the SSB and PDSCH may mitigate the interference to improve an error rate of decoding the PDSCH. The UE may receive a first SSB including a first broadcast channel (BCH) from a second base station other than a serving base station. The UE may decode the first SSB. The UE may determine, based on the first SSB and the first BCH, that the PDSCH scheduled by the serving base station will overlap with a second SSB from the second base station. The UE may estimate a channel of the second SSB based on the decoded first SSB. The UE may remove a reconstructed second SSB from the PDSCH. The UE may decode the PDSCH.
REFERENCE SIGNALING FOR RADIO ACCESS NETWORKS
There is disclosed a method of operating a network node for a radio access network. The method includes transmitting reference signaling indicating an identity associated to the network node. The disclosure also pertains to related devices and methods.
