TRANSMISSION SCHEME FOR PHYSICAL UPLINK CONTROL CHANNEL
20230209555 · 2023-06-29 ·

Embodiments herein provide techniques for transmission of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) in a wireless cellular network. For example, transmission schemes are provided for sequence-based transmission of a PUCCH and/or to improve PUCCH coverage. User equipment (UE) may: determine uplink control information (DCI) payload information for the PUCCH with a PUCCH format 1; determine a sequence for transmission of the PUCCH based on the UCI payload information; and map the determined sequence to allocated resources for the PUCCH format 1 for transmission.

Transmission signal generation apparatus, transmission signal generation method, reception signal apparatus, and reception signal method

Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) communication is provided which allows high accuracy estimation of frequency offset, high accuracy estimation of a transmission path fluctuation and high accuracy synchronization/signal detection. Pilot symbol mapping is provided for forming pilot carriers by assigning orthogonal sequences to corresponding subcarriers among OFDM signals which are transmitted at the same time from respective antennas in the time domain. Even when pilot symbols are multiplexed among a plurality of channels (antennas), this allows frequency offset/phase noise to be estimated with high accuracy.

An apparatus for receiving reverse link signals from a plurality of subscriber units in a multi-path environment is described. The apparatus includes a receiver in a base station that receives a first plurality of reverse link signals and a second plurality of reverse link signals in a time interval. Each reverse link signal of the first plurality of reverse link signals is derived from at least a common pseudo noise (PN) sequence and unique orthogonal sequence and each reverse link signal of the second plurality of reverse link signals is derived from a unique pseudo noise (PN) sequence. The apparatus also includes a a processor that determines a timing offset associated with at least one reverse link signal to align a timing of the at least one reverse link signal with reverse link signals from other subscriber units.

TERMINAL STATION APPARATUS, BASE STATION APPARATUS, TRANSMISSION METHOD AND CONTROL METHOD

A terminal apparatus includes circuitry and a transmitter. The circuitry, in operation, generates a reference signal using a cyclic shift value and an orthogonal sequence, which are associated with each other. The orthogonal sequence is one of two orthogonal sequences corresponding to a first orthogonal sequence [1, 1] and a second orthogonal sequence [1, −1]. The cyclic shift value is one of 12 cyclic shift values ranging from 0 to 11. The transmitter, in operation, transmits the reference signal multiplexed with a data signal. Two of the cyclic shift values having a difference of 6 are respectively associated with the two orthogonal sequences.

A repeater generates repetition signals by repeating an uplink signal over a plurality of subframes. If the plurality of subframes do not include a transmission candidate subframe of a sounding reference signal used to measure uplink reception quality, a controller sets a first transmission format to all the plurality of subframes, and if the plurality of subframes include the transmission candidate subframe, the controller sets a second transmission format to all the plurality of subframes. A transmitter transmits the repetition signals using the set transmission format.
