GROUPCAST FOR SIDELINK COMMUNICATION
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage medium of groupcast for sidelink communication. In example embodiments, at a leader device in a group of devices, an orthogonal sequence and cover code is selected from a first set of orthogonal sequences and a first set of orthogonal cover codes. The first set of orthogonal sequences and the first set of orthogonal cover codes are used for acknowledgement feedback in the group. An indication of the selected orthogonal sequence and cover code is sent to a first member device of a plurality of member devices in the group.
Method for controlling inter-cell interference in wireless communication system, and device therefor
A method for a base station to control inter-cell interference in a wireless communication system comprises: a step in which a base station receives, in a predefined physical resource region, a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) or a sounding reference symbol (SRS) from a terminal in a cell to which the base station belongs; a step of measuring interference in a resource on which the DMRS or the SRS has been transmitted, on the basis of an interference measurement method corresponding to the predefined physical resource region; and a step of determining the terminal as a victim terminal associated with the predefined physical resource region, if the intensity of the interference measured is greater than a predetermined threshold, wherein the predefined physical resource region may be a first physical resource region for an uplink data transmission in the cell to which the base station belongs, or a second physical resource region for uplink beam sweeping in the cell to which the base station belongs, the first and second physical resource regions corresponding to a physical resource region for uplink beam sweeping in a neighboring cell to which a neighboring base station belongs.
CONVEYING INFORMATION VIA AUXILIARY DEVICE SELECTION
Inventive concepts relating to open access points are described wherein a first wireless service is provided to one or more devices associated with a first residence using a first band of frequencies and a second wireless service is provided to one or more other devices not associated with the first residence using a second band of frequencies. According to some embodiments, an access point is configured to provide the first wireless service to the one or more devices associated with the first residence responsive to an access code that has been provided to the one or more devices and is further configured to provide the second wireless service to the one or more other devices not associated with the first residence. The first wireless service differs from the second wireless service, and the second band of frequencies differs from the first band of frequencies and comprises 900 MHz.
Energy detection threshold adaptation for licensed assisted access of LTE in unlicensed band
When performing a contention protocol, such as Listen-Before-Talk (LBT), an Long Term Evolution (LTE)-Licensed Assisted Access (LAA) node dynamically adapts the ED threshold used by the LTE-LAA node depending on whether other transmission nodes are detected at the frequency components that are to be used by the LTE-LAA node. In one implementation, the ED threshold value may initially be set to a conservative value, and when other transmissions nodes are not detected, the ED threshold value may be set to a more aggressive value. In another implementation, the ED threshold value may initially be set to a more aggressive value, and only when another transmission node is detected, the ED threshold value may be set to a more conservative value. In yet another possible implementation, the ED threshold value and the transmit power may be proportionally modified, for a particular UE, based on a parameter associated with the UE.
INDICATIONS OF PHYSICAL DOWNLINK CONTROL CHANNEL MONITORING OCCASION AGGREGATION VIA DEMODULATION REFERENCE SIGNAL PARAMETERS
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a search space configuration that identifies one or more parameters associated with demodulation reference signals (DMRSs) for a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) communication. The UE may decode a PDCCH candidate associated with the PDCCH communication, based at least in part on the one or more parameters associated with the DMRSs, wherein the PDCCH candidate is aggregated over one or more PDCCH monitoring occasions. Numerous other aspects are described.
Association of transmission configuration indicator states to physical cell identities
A base station may identify an association between a set of physical cell identifiers (PCIs) identifying different transmission reception points (TRPs) and a set of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for a user equipment (UE). The base station may transmit a TCI state and PCI association indication to the UE. The UE may receive a downlink transmission using a receive beam associated with a TCI state, and may identify a PCI of the set of PCIs to use to decode the received downlink transmission. In cases where the TCI state used to receive the downlink transmission is associated with multiple PCIs, the UE may select a default PCI from the multiple PCIs, and may decode the received transmission accordingly. In some examples, the UE may receive reference signals from one or more of the serving TRPs and may identify a PCI to use to decode the received reference signals.
Method and apparatus for receiving system information in the wireless communication
The present invention discloses a method for a user equipment to receive system information in a wireless communication system. Particularly, the method is characterized in detecting a first synchronization signal block configured with a Primary Synchronization Signal (PSS), a Secondary Synchronization Signal (SSS) and a Physical Broadcasting Channel (PBCH) at a specific frequency position, determining a presence or non-presence of system information corresponding to the first synchronization signal block within a first synchronization raster corresponding to a specific frequency position based on a system information indicator included in the PBCH, and if the system information corresponding to the first synchronization signal block is determined as not existing, determining a second synchronization raster having system information exist therein based on the system information indicator.
MAPPING A CONTROL RESOURCE TO A PHYSICAL CELL
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to enable one or both of a base station or a user equipment (UE) to identify one or more physical cell identifiers (PCIs) for a scheduled communication, using an association between the one or more PCIs and a control resource set (CORESET), for example, used to transmit a grant scheduling the communication. The base station may identify a mapping between one or more PCIs associated with a communication and may transmit, to the UE, a grant scheduling the communication on a CORESET associated with the one or more PCIs. The UE may identify a mapping between the CORESET and the one or more PCIs associated with the communication based on receiving the grant in the CORESET. The UE and the base station may communicate a message scheduled by the grant using parameters associated with the one or more identified PCIs.
