A system for measuring temperature in a sterilization autoclave, including a temperature transducer positionable inside a sterilization chamber of the autoclave and a receiver positionable outside the sterilization chamber. The receiver includes a reception antenna and a receiving electronic circuit connectable with a process controller of the autoclave. The receiving electronic circuit is configured to receive a temperature signal through the reception antenna, provide a control signal as a function of the temperature signal, and transmit the control signal to the process controller. The temperature transducer includes a hermetically closable transducer housing, temperature probes, a transmission antenna, an electronic transduction circuit, and a primary battery. The reception antenna of the receiving device is configured to transmit signals at two or more different frequencies.

Detecting passive RF components using radio frequency identification tags

Systems and methods are provided for automatically detecting passive components in communications systems using radio frequency identification (RFID) tags. A coupling circuit is provided in a system between a communications network and an RFID tag. The RFID tag is associated with a passive element of a distributed antenna system (DAS). The coupling circuit can allow an RFID signal received from an RFID transmitter over the communications network to be transported to the RFID tag. The coupling circuit can substantially prevent mobile communication signals on the communications network from being transported to the RFID tag.

CARD READER DEVICE

A card reader device A1 includes: a housing 11; an openable shutter 311 that allows or disallows passing of a magnetic card C into the housing 11; a magnetic head 511 that reads magnetic data of the magnetic card C received in the housing 11; an interfering magnetic field generator 711 provided on a rear surface side of the shutter 311 to generate an interfering magnetic field in at least a region R between the magnetic head 511 and the shutter 311; an interfering magnetic field control unit 61 that controls generation of the interfering magnetic field; and an interfering magnetic field alleviating unit 81 that alleviates an influence of the interfering magnetic field on the magnetic head 511 so that the interfering magnetic field generated by the interfering magnetic field generator 711 does not interfere the reading of the magnetic data by the magnetic head 511.

There are provided systems, devices and methods for detection and/or prevention of power line communications. In particular, there are provided systems, devices, and methods for preventing and/or detecting the possibility to communicate with an end unit via power line communication.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATIONS HAVING LOCAL SECURITY
20190238185 · 2019-08-01 ·

A system for near field communications is provided. The system can include a near field generator configured to generate a near field detectable signal comprising information. The system can include a near field detector configured to receive the near field detectable signal and output the information. The system can include an Electro-Magnetic (EM) shield surrounding the near field generator to block EM radio frequency (RF) signals in the vicinity of the near field generator from interfering with operations of the near field generator. The EM shield does not prevent communication of the near field detectable signal between the near field generator and the near field detector. The EM shield can be configured to reduce magnetic field loss from eddy currents in the EM shield as the near field detectable signal passes through the EM shield.

System, method, and apparatus for reducing driving while texting
10333647 · 2019-06-25 ·

A system for reducing driving while texting includes a containment vessel with a door. When the door is closed, the containment vessel attenuates cellular radio signals to prevent the user device held there within from communicating with a transceiver that is external to the containment vessel (e.g. Cell Tower). A transceiver having an antenna internal to the containment vessel looks for a transceiver of the user device to detect the presence of the user device within the containment vessel. A sensor detects when the door is closed. There is a way to detecting movement of a vehicle in which the containment vessel is held and a way to log data indicating at least time periods in which movement is detected and either the door is open or the transceiver of the user device is not detected. The data is reported (e.g. to a parent/guardian).
