Device Agnostic Audio Path Sealing
In accordance with some embodiments, an apparatus that seals the audio path of an enclosed device is provided. The apparatus includes a first housing portion and a second housing portion, when mated, are arranged to enclose a device, where a surface of the second housing portion is arranged to impart pressure on the device toward the first housing portion. The apparatus further includes a first supporting portion disposed along one side of the first housing portion and arranged to support the device. The apparatus also includes a first liner disposed in the first housing portion and arranged to form a first cavity, where the first cavity is adjacent to the first supporting portion. The apparatus further includes a noise generator operable to provide noise signal stream and a first audio output device coupled to the noise generator operable to output first masking signals to the first cavity.
DIGITAL CAPACITY CENTRIC DISTRIBUTED ANTENNA SYSTEM
Disclosed herein is an architecture for a Digital Capacity Centric Distributed Antenna System (DCC-DAS) that dynamically manages and distributes resources in different locations where there is demand for capacity. The DCC-DAS also allows for the routing of resources to other applications such as location finding devices, jamming devices, repeaters, etc.
Apparatuses and methods for acoustic noise cancelling
The present disclosure relates to concepts of acoustic noise cancelling. A noise cancelling apparatus contains a propulsion component configured to autonomously move the noise cancelling apparatus, and circuitry. The circuitry is configured to determine a position of an acoustic source, to determine a position of an acoustic receiver, and, depending on the detected positions of the acoustic source and the acoustic receiver, to control the propulsion component to navigate the noise cancelling apparatus to a target position to at least partly cancel an acoustic signal from the acoustic source at the position of the acoustic receiver.
SPEECH RECOGNITION DEVICE, SPEECH RECOGNITION METHOD, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM STORING SPEECH RECOGNITION PROGRAM
A speech recognition device of the present disclosure recognizes an uttered speech of a user, and includes a controller configured to control output of any disturbance sound according to whether uttered content requested to the user is content desired not to be heard by a third party, and stop the output of the disturbance sound in response to end of an utterance of the user.
RFID disruption device and related methods
Devices and methods of disrupting data transfer between an RFID interrogation device (50, 50) and an RFID data storage device (30, 30) to be protected, are provided. An example of an embodiment of an RFID signal disruptor device includes a container (41, 141) and an RFID signal disruptor circuit (151, 161, 161, 171, 171, 271, 271) configured to substantially disrupt the signal provided by the RFID interrogation device (50, 50) when the RFID signal disruptor device is positioned to protect the RFID data storage device (30, 30). The RFID signal disruptor device can also include an interrogation indicator (63, 296) configured to indicate to a user of the RFID data storage device (30, 30) that an unauthorized RFID interrogation device (50, 50) is attempting to interrogate the RFID data storage device (30, 30) when the RFID signal disruptor device is positioned in close proximity to the RFID data storage device (30, 30) to provide protection thereto and when the RFID interrogation device (50, 50) is producing the interrogation signal.
WI-FI DENIAL DEVICE
Systems and methods for a comprehensive, intuitive, ultra-compact, high-performance, low-impact, personnel efficient, non-jamming, and cost-effective targeted continuous Wi-Fi denial device are described. The Wi-Fi denial device receives communication from a Wi-Fi source, identifies the Wi-Fi device, compares the device to an authorized or unauthorized device list, and will disconnect the device if it is determined that the device is not on an authorized list of devices or on a list of unauthorized devices.
INTERNAL CARD READER SKIMMER DISRUPTER
A dual antiphase read-head arranged card reader is provided. The card reader includes a first read-head arrangement and a second read-head arrangement. Electromagnetic noise is applied to both the first and second arrangements. Waves associated with the electromagnetic noise on the second arrangement is transformed and applied to the first arrangement canceling the noise on a first read head of the first arrangement. The first read head reads magnetically encoded information on a magnetic strip of a card inserted into a card slot of the card reader free of noise. However, the noise remains present such that any skimmer read head of a skimmer inserted into the card slot is unable to read the magnetically encoded information off the magnetic strip of the card.
NFC Tags with Proximity Detection
Systems, apparatuses and methods provide for detecting the proximate placement of an external NFC reader to a specific location on a display surface. The display surface can be intended for viewing indicia and enabling interaction with an NFC communication device embedded within the display. A circuit can control an NFC security system that can scan for unauthorized tags affixed to the surface of a display. The NFC security system may be activated by an NFC enabled mobile phone placed proximate to the indicated region for receiving an NFC coded message from the display. An NFC security scan can be performed prior to the mobile phone reading the message from the intended NFC tag in the display. Enabling interactive display modes can allow for making selections indicated on the display or detecting motion gestures across the face of the display.
ACOUSTIC PATTERN DETERMINATION
According to an example, a method comprises receiving a first audio stream from an input device, detecting presence within the first audio stream of at least an acoustic pattern, executing at least one corrective action over a portion of data of the first audio stream including the acoustic pattern such that a second audio stream is obtained, and transmitting the second audio stream to an output device.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA CONTAINED ON AN RFID-ENABLED DEVICE
A system for protecting personal data contained on an RFID-enabled device, suitable for use with an RFID system including an RFID reader configured to extract information from an RFID chip associated with the RFID-enabled device, includes a personal data protection system including a personal data protection device configured to prevent reading of the RFID chip associated with an RFID-enabled personal item.
