SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING, TRACKING AND IDENTIFYING SMALL UNMANNED SYSTEMS SUCH AS DRONES
A system for providing integrated detection and countermeasures against unmanned aerial vehicles include a detecting element, a location determining element and an interdiction element. The detecting element detects an unmanned aerial vehicle in flight in the region of, or approaching, a property, place, event or very important person. The location determining element determines the exact location of the unmanned aerial vehicle. The interdiction element can either direct the unmanned aerial vehicle away from the property, place, event or very important person in a non-destructive manner, or can cause disable the unmanned aerial vehicle in a destructive manner.

Electrochemical gas sensor and electrolyte for an electrochemical gas sensor
An electrochemical gas sensor (10) includes a housing (20) and with at least one electrode (21, 22). The housing (20) has a gas inlet (23). An at least strongly acidic, liquid electrolyte (30) is present in the gas sensor (10). The electrolyte (30) partly wets the electrode (21, 22). Provisions are made in such a gas sensor (10) for the electrolyte (30) to contain an additive that contains at least one surfactant. An electrolyte (30) is also provided for a gas sensor (10), which electrolyte (30) contains at least one surfactant as an additive.
Method and apparatus for repelling a detectable drone
Some embodiments relate to a method for repelling a detectable drone, whose flight control and/or whose drone flight path can be influenced by repulsion measures, wherein a repulsion space is defined as a part of the airspace, and wherein the flight control and/or the drone flight path of a drone located in the repulsion space is influenced.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISABLING AN UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE
Disclosed are systems and methods for disabling a battery in an un-manned aerial vehicle. The system includes a battery containing lithium; a battery disable unit; and a processor configured to: receive a disable command; and transmit the disable command to the battery disable unit to activate the battery disable unit to cause the battery to malfunction.
Drone threat assessment
A system for providing integrated detection and deterrence against an unmanned vehicle including but not limited to aerial technology unmanned systems using a detection element, a tracking element, an identification element and an interdiction or deterrent element. Elements contain sensors that observe real time quantifiable data regarding the object of interest to create an assessment of risk or threat to a protected area of interest. This assessment may be based e.g., on data mining of internal and external data sources. The deterrent element selects from a variable menu of possible deterrent actions. Though designed for autonomous action, a Human in the Loop may override the automated system solutions.
HIGH-POWER ELECTROMAGNETIC SOURCE, VEHICLE AND METHOD
A high-power electromagnetic source for HPEM pulses in a desired radiation direction includes at least three antennas fixed in relation to one another for pulse components, wherein at least two groups of antennas with a respective main direction are present, and a control unit for the activation and phase position of the pulse components for the superimposition for the HPEM pulse, wherein the current radiation direction of said pulse is selectable in an angle range around the main direction. A vehicle with an HPEM source has the antennas mounted in a fixed position or a support for the antennas is pivotably mounted on the vehicle. In a method for emitting the HPEM pulse, all antennas are controlled in order to select the radiation direction in the angle range of less than 360.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATIONS HAVING LOCAL SECURITY
A system for near field communications is provided. The system can include a near field generator configured to generate a near field detectable signal comprising information. The system can include a near field detector configured to receive the near field detectable signal and output the information. The system can include an Electro-Magnetic (EM) shield surrounding the near field generator to block EM radio frequency (RF) signals in the vicinity of the near field generator from interfering with operations of the near field generator. The EM shield does not prevent communication of the near field detectable signal between the near field generator and the near field detector. The EM shield can be configured to reduce magnetic field loss from eddy currents in the EM shield as the near field detectable signal passes through the EM shield.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SMALL UNMANNED AERIAL SYSTEMS (sUAS) DEFENSE
Provided is a method and a computer device for performing the method for defending a perimeter against a small unmanned aerial system (sUAS). The method includes detecting a presence of a wireless access point (WAP) associated with a sUAS; analyzing data packets intercepted from the WAP; determining the type of sUAS based on the data packets that were intercepted using a machine learning classifier; determining one or more exploits from a library of exploits to initiate against the sUAS based on the type of sUAS determined by the machine learning classifier; and transmitting the one or more exploits to the sUAS.
System and a computer-implemented method for multi path communication with an unmanned aerial vehicle during a mission
A system and a method of multi path communication to improve communication between an unmanned air vehicle (UAV) and ground control during a mission is disclosed. A database previously stores a plurality of secure data links to be used on networks during the mission for communicating and are managed for simultaneously distributing data flow among data links according to coverage and UAV location preventing third parties may compromise security of a mission. The database may be updated during the mission if needed.
