ADAPTIVELY DISRUPTING UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES
A technique for adaptively disrupting UAVs detects a target UAV using a camera, monitors the target UAV's communications using a directional antenna aligned with the camera, and attempts to communicate with the target UAV to request that it land, fly away, or return to launch. With the camera trained on the UAV, the directional antenna detects down-link signals from the UAV, which the UAV may employ to communicate with a ground-based controller. Control circuitry analyzes the down-link signals and generates a disrupting signal based thereon. The disrupting signal shares characteristics with the down-link signal, such as its protocol, bit rate, and/or packet length. The directional antenna transmits the disrupting signal back toward the UAV to affect the UAV's flight.

DISRUPTION TO AN OPERATION OF AN UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE
There may be provided a method for inducing a disruption to an operation of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that communicates with a remote controller, said method may include determining to induce the disruption to the operation of the UAV; and transmitting, to the UAV, one or more disrupting commands that once executed by the at UAV causes a unit of the UAV to malfunction, the malfunction induces the disruption to the operation of the UAV.
SOUND MASKING IN OPEN-PLAN SPACES USING NATURAL SOUNDS
A system, method and program product for generating sound masking in an open-plan space. A method is disclosed that includes: establishing a set of acoustic criteria for the space that specifies minimum output levels at a set of specified frequencies; mixing sound samples to create an audio output stream for use as sound masking when broadcast over at least one speaker using a power amplifier; and processing the audio output stream, wherein the processing includes: analyzing the audio output stream with a spectrum analyzer to determine if the minimum output levels at the set of specified frequencies are met; and level adjusting the audio output stream with an equalizer to ensure that minimum output levels at the set of specified frequencies are met but do not exceed a given threshold above the minimum level.
Test system and test method
A test system for testing a device under test comprising an antenna array with multiple antennas and capable of controlling a radiation pattern of the antenna array, may comprise a test antenna system for emitting outgoing test signals to the device under test and receiving incoming test signals from the device under test, a control unit for controlling the device under test to set a first radiation pattern with a theoretical main lobe pointing to the test antenna system or to set a second radiation pattern with a main lobe comprising an angle larger than 0 with the main lobe of the first radiation pattern, and a test processing unit for evaluating the device under test based on signal levels of incoming test signals received by the test antenna system from the device under test and/or based on signal levels of outgoing test signals as received by the device under test.
Electronic countermeasures transponder system
A system is provided that has an ECM (electronic counter measures) system and a transponder monitor connected to or forming part of the ECM system. The system monitors for a transponder signal from a remote transponder. The system determines information, such as transponder location, based on the transponder signal and makes use of the information in the ECM system and/or the system extracts encoded information contained in the transponder signal, such as information about a transponder owner, such as status of consumables, medical status. The ECM system may have a reactive jammer that is used both for a reactive jamming function, and as the transponder monitor function.
Adaptive location perturbation
An example of adaptive location perturbation can include selecting, by a processing resource of a mobile device executing instructions stored on a non-transitory medium, between a plurality of localization technologies to perturb a location measurement of the mobile device. The perturbed location measurement of the mobile device can be sent to a location-based service provider.
ENCAPSULATED ELECTRONIC WARFARE ARCHITECTURE
Electronic devices and a method of providing electronic warfare (EW) data in an encapsulated architecture in a vehicle are generally described. Emitters targeting the vehicle during a mission may be detected and an observable history of each emitter obtained as a function of time. Properties of each emitter may be both inferred based on the observable history and extracted from locally-stored pre-mission intelligence. The emitter properties, as well as current and historical state and threat level of the emitter and effectiveness of various countermeasures may be stored in an adaptive radar model (ARM) for the emitter. Each emitter may have its own ARM. The ARM may be used to take appropriate countermeasures for a particular emitter, based on the emitter alone or taking into account all of the emitters.
Speech intelligibility measurement and open space noise masking
Methods and apparatuses for addressing open space noise are disclosed. In one example, a method for masking open space noise includes outputting a test signal from a speaker, the test signal operable to measure a speech transmission quality of a transmission channel. The method includes receiving the test signal at a microphone, outputting a detected test signal, and processing the detected test signal to determine the speech transmission quality of the transmission channel. The method further includes adjusting an output level of a noise masking signal from the speaker responsive to the speech transmission quality.
EDGE-CENTRIC RESILIENCE WITH PROACTIVE JAMMER-RESILIENT OPTIMIZATION
According to one embodiment, a method, computer system, and computer program product for distributed edge resilience enhancement is provided. The embodiment may include identifying an adversarial jammer is causing an impact on a wireless system. The embodiment may also include generating a risk assessment of impact caused by the adversarial jammer to a user. The embodiment may further include identifying an action to apply based on the risk assessment. The embodiment may also include performing the identified action.
