Vehicle wireless device detection
The disclosure includes an apparatus comprising a diagnostic unit configured to communicate with a rules engine to determine whether a transmission detected in a vehicle is classified as driver wireless device usage based on passenger data indicating whether a passenger is present in the vehicle. The disclosure also includes a system comprising a shielding unit configured to transmit a noise signal to interrupt a transmission detected in a vehicle, and a diagnostic unit configured to communicate with a rules engine to determine whether the detected transmission is classified as driver wireless device usage based on the passenger data indicating whether a passenger is present in the vehicle, and activate a recording if the transmission is classified as driver wireless device usage.
Spectrum sensing falsification detection in dense cognitive radio networks
Systems and associated methods for detecting a set of spectrum sensing falsification (SSF) attacks in a geographic database (GDB) driven cognitive radio (CR) system. Viewing the GDB as a type of non-orthogonal compressive sensing (CS) dictionary, the composite power spectral density (PSD) estimate at a candidate CR is approximated by a small number of sensor nodes listed in the GDB. In a dense CR network, the PSD estimate at a CR may contain a composite mixture of spectrally overlapping signals. An implementation of an optimized, greedy algorithm orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) returns a set of sensor nodes which are suspected to be in the vicinity of the CR. A sufficient match between the PSD estimate reported by a candidate CR and the PSD that is sparsely approximated from the SNs in its area provides confidence (trust) metrics which may be used to detect potential SSF attacks.
Wireless communication management system and private electronic communication network
An apparatus for managing wireless electronic communication signals, comprises a signal monitor configured to detect a wireless electronic communication signal with an original phase and a frequency within a range of frequencies; a signal analyzer configured to identify a communication protocol associated with the wireless electronic communication signal; a cancellation module configured to generate a cancellation signal; and a transmitter configured to transmit the cancellation signal throughout a cancellation area. The cancellation signal is formatted to oppose at least some information that was both carried by the wireless electronic communication signal and formatted in accordance with the communication protocol. Methods of using this apparatus are also disclosed.
INTEGRATION OF CELLULAR PHONE DETECTION AND REPORTING INTO A PRISON TELEPHONE SYSTEM
The present subject matter is directed to an apparatus and methodology for monitoring for the occurrence of use of unauthorized telecommunications equipment within a designated area. The present subject matter has particular utility to the corrections environment in that it discloses a methodology for detecting and reporting the unauthorized operation of cellular telephones within a corrections facility. The present technology may be used advantageously in combination with inmate telephone systems to transmit information to appropriate personnel in the form of email messages and/or voice communications by way of telephone local or corrections facility external telephone lines. The present technology also provides for recordation and storage of time, date and location information for detected events.
Network jamming detection and remediation
Methods and systems for network jamming detection and remediation are provided. Exemplary methods include: detecting by a base unit network jamming, the base unit being disposed in a residence; and issuing an alert in response to the detected network jamming, the alert being last least one of: sounding an audible alarm, showing a visual alarm indication, communicating with law enforcement, and communicating with an alarm monitoring station.
IDENTIFYING, TRACKING, AND DISRUPTING UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES
Systems, methods, and apparatus for identifying, tracking, and disrupting UAVs are described herein. Sensor data can be received from one or more portable countermeasure devices or sensors. The sensor data can relate to an object detected proximate to a particular airspace. The system can analyze the sensor data relating to the object to determine a location of the object and determine that the object is flying within the particular airspace based at least in part on location data. A portable countermeasure device can be identified that corresponds to the location of the object. The system can transmit information about the object to the identified portable countermeasure device. The portable countermeasure device can transmit additional data relating to the object to the system.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISRUPTING UNAUTHORIZED COMMUNICATIONS IN LOW FREQUENCY RADIO COMMUNICATION DEVICES
Systems and methods for disrupting unauthorized communication in low frequency radio communication devices are provided. Traditional systems and methods may fail to provide for disrupting unauthorized communications by generating low frequency signals in the same band as the low frequency bands of the low frequency radio communication devices. Embodiments of the present disclosure provides for overcoming the limitations faced by the traditional systems and methods by generating, via a square wave generator and a device coil of a low frequency radio communication device, low frequency signals; integrating the low frequency signals on a computing device by implementing a power controlling technique; and disrupting, via the integrated low frequency signals on the computing device, unauthorized communications in the low frequency radio communication device.
Device Agnostic Audio Path Sealing
In accordance with some embodiments, an apparatus that seals the audio path of an enclosed device is provided. The apparatus includes a first housing portion and a second housing portion, when mated, are arranged to enclose a device, where a surface of the second housing portion is arranged to impart pressure on the device toward the first housing portion. The apparatus further includes a first supporting portion disposed along one side of the first housing portion and arranged to support the device. The apparatus also includes a first liner disposed in the first housing portion and arranged to form a first cavity, where the first cavity is adjacent to the first supporting portion. The apparatus further includes a noise generator operable to provide noise signal stream and a first audio output device coupled to the noise generator operable to output first masking signals to the first cavity.
PORTABLE RADAR DETECTION DYNAMIC FREQUENCY SELECTION AUTOMATIC TEST DEVICE
A portable radar detection dynamic frequency selection automatic test device is provided, which includes a radar signal generator and a computer host. The radar signal generator is plugged into an USB connection interface to connect to the computer host connected to a wireless network device. The computer host transmits a radar signal file via the USB connection interface to generates a radar signal and transits the radar signal to a wireless network device via a radar transmission interface. Meanwhile, a processing unit of the computer host performs a radar detection rate test in order to determine whether the wireless network device detects the radar signal.
