A reception unit receives, with an ultrasonic sensor, received signals including a reflected wave obtained when an acoustic signal emitted from a mobile body is reflected by an object. A disturbance judgment unit judges whether a jamming attack in which a jamming signal is transmitted from outside is being made, on the basis of the received signals. An object detection unit detects an object in surroundings of the mobile body on the basis of the received signals if it is judged that no attack is being made and does not perform object detection if it is judged that an attack is being made.

Systems and methods for UAV safety are provided. An authentication system may be used to confirm UAV and/or user identity and provide secured communications between users and UAVs. The UAVs may operate in accordance with a set of flight regulations. The set of flight regulations may be associated with a geo-fencing device in the vicinity of the UAV.
Handheld portable countermeasure device against unmanned systems
A portable countermeasure device is provided comprising one or more directional antennae, one or more disruption components and at least one activator. The portable countermeasure device further comprises a body having a dual-grip configuration, with the directional antennae are affixed to a removable plate on a front portion of the body. The one or more disruption components may be internally mounted within the device body. The dual-grip configuration allows an operator to use his body to steady and support the device while maintaining the antenna on target. The second grip is positioned adjacent the first grip, with the first grip angled toward the rear of the device and the second grip angled toward the front of the device. The portable countermeasure device is aimed at a specific drone, the activator is engaged, and disruptive signals are directed toward the drone, disrupting the control, navigation, and other signals to and from the drone.
IDENTIFYING POTENTIAL ATTACKS AGAINST CELLULAR NETWORKS
Aspects of the present invention disclose a method for identifying indications of an attack on a cellular network. The method includes one or more processors scanning a geographic area of a cellular network, wherein the geographic area includes a plurality of transceivers of the cellular network. The method further includes identifying a symptom that impacts a transceiver of the cellular network based at least in part on connectivity between a computing device and the plurality transceivers of the cellular network. The method further includes performing one or more assessments on the transceiver of the cellular network impacted by the symptom. The method further includes determining whether the symptom of the cellular network is associated with an attack on the cellular network based at least in part on the one or more assessments.
RADIO HAVING HYBRID STARING AND NON-STARING ARCHITECTURE
A system may include a first radio comprising a first radio processor, a first radio modem, and a first radio transmitter configured to transmit non-hopping transmissions and hopping transmissions. The system may further include a second radio comprising a second radio processor, a second radio modem, and a second radio hopping receiver, wherein the second radio hopping receiver is a non-staring second radio receiver. The first radio may be configured to: receive a message and a destination for the message, the destination being the second radio; upon a determination that the destination has a non-staring receiver, store the message; determine a time interval start time for a cyclical hop pattern associated with the second radio; output the message from the memory to the first radio modem; output the message from the first radio modem to the first radio transmitter; and/or transmit the message to the second radio.
Deterrent for unmanned aerial systems
A system for providing integrated detection and deterrence against an unmanned vehicle including but not limited to aerial technology unmanned systems using a detection element, a tracking element, an identification element and an interdiction or deterrent element. Elements contain sensors that observe real time quantifiable data regarding the object of interest to create an assessment of risk or threat to a protected area of interest. This assessment may be based e.g., on data mining of internal and external data sources. The deterrent element selects from a variable menu of possible deterrent actions. Though designed for autonomous action, a Human in the Loop may override the automated system solutions.
AIRCRAFT TRACKING SENSOR ARRANGEMENT, AND A DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF
A gateway device for a sensor network comprising: communication means to communicate with an aircraft interface device or other communication means provided by aircraft, short-range wireless communication means for communicating with nodes via short range communication means, characterized in that the gateway device is arranged to receive flight status information from the aircraft interface device and to facilitate control of nodes in accordance with the flight status, such as that the gateway sends the nodes a command to disable all wireless transmission when the aircraft status is take off or landing, and a command to utilize only short-range wireless transmission means when the aircraft status is climb, cruise or descent. Corresponding arrangement and method are also presented.
METHOD AND A SYSTEM FOR THE AUTOMATIC DETECTION OF A JAMMING OF A SATELLITE NAVIGATION SYSTEM
A system includes at least one reception unit installed in an aircraft and configured for tracking satellites of the satellite navigation system of the GNSS type. The system includes a generation unit for generating an expected number corresponding to the number of satellites that the reception unit is expected to track, a detection unit including a comparison part for comparing the expected number with a tracked number corresponding to the number of satellites that the reception unit is actually tracking and a decision part for detecting a jamming, as a function of the result of the comparison made by the comparison part and transmitting detection data in the event of detection, and a transmission unit configured to transmit jamming detection data to at least one user device, the system making it possible to detect a jamming of a GNSS system in an automatic and reliable manner.
UAS DETECTION AND NEGATION
Unauthorized operation of a UAV may present privacy or security risks. A software-defined radio (SDR) or other receiver can be used to monitor a specified range of frequencies to provide detection of wireless communication signals suspected of relating to UAV operation. A protocol detector corresponding to a trained classifier can be applied to data packets demodulated by the SDR. A transmitter can then be triggered to provide warnings by injecting warning data into a video channel in response to the detected protocol. Control of the UAV can be established by transmitting simulated control commands that overwhelm the signals received from the UAVs normal remote control. If transmission of warnings or simulated control signals fail to suppress unwanted UAV operation, other actions can be triggered such as jamming or dispatch of an interceptor such as a surveillance UAV.

In addition, one aspect of the invention generally relates to a method and system for modifying a user's driving behaviors, in particular to a system and method for modifying a user's unsafe driving behaviors, e.g., using one or more services of a controllable mobile device while driving, by providing a score to the user rating indicating that they are using a mobile device in a distracting way, or driving in a manner that indicates that they are distracted.
