An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle is disclosed. The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle includes a body, rotors attached to the body, one or more sensors, and an electromagnetic pulse transmitter. The electromagnetic pulse transmitter is configured to transmit an EMP and the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle is configured to track a target Unmanned Aerial Vehicle using the one or more sensors and direct the electromagnetic pulse transmitter at the target Unmanned Aerial Vehicle to disrupt the target Unmanned Aerial Vehicle.
Ultra-wide band electromagnetic jamming projector
A radio frequency (RF) jamming device includes a differential segmented aperture (DSA), a jammer source outputting a jamming signal at one or more frequencies or frequency bands to be jammed, and RF electronics that amplify and feed the jamming signal to the DSA so as to emit a jamming beam. The DSA includes an array of electrically conductive tapered projections, and the RF electronics comprise power splitters configured to split the jamming signal to aperture pixels of the DSA. The aperture pixels comprise pairs of electrically conductive tapered projections of the array of electrically conductive tapered projections. The RF electronics further comprise pixel power amplifiers, each connected to amplify the jamming signal fed to a single corresponding aperture pixel of the DSA. The RF jamming device may include a rifle-shaped housing, with the DSA mounted at a distal end of the barrel of the rifle-shaped housing.
Method and system for controlling a mobile communication device in a moving vehicle
Disclosed herein is a method and system for detecting, monitoring and/or controlling one or more of mobile services for a mobile communication device (also referred to herein as a Controllable Mobile Device or CMD), and in particular, when the device is being used and the vehicle, operated by the user of the device, is moving. The present method and system determines whether the vehicle is being operated by a user that may also have access to a mobile communication device which, if used concurrently while the vehicle is in operation, may lead to unsafe operation of the vehicle. If the mobile services control system determines that a vehicle operator has potentially unsafe access to a mobile communication device, the mobile services control system may restrict operator access to one or more services that would otherwise be available to the operator via the mobile communication device.
System and method for intercepting unmanned aerial vehicles
The invention provides a system and method for intercepting a target UAV by releasing a plurality of countermeasure (CM) objects in a projected path thereof to form a 3D countermeasure cloud. Pieces of flexible materials configured to become ensnared in the propellers of the target UAV or otherwise interfere with their ability to provide lift and thrust capabilities to the UAV. A UAV interception control system may track the target UAV and compute a location probability volume therefor using a modified Kalman filter to decide on a projected interception location and time.
Method for anti-drone using GPS spoofing signal and system therefore
Disclosed are an anti-drone method using a GPS spoofing signal and a system thereof. According to an embodiment of the inventive concept, an anti-drone method may include injecting a GPS spoofing signal to analyze a drone feature of a target drone and hijacking the target drone by injecting a GPS spoofing signal into the target drone based on a drone hijacking strategy corresponding to the analyzed drone feature among predefined drone hijacking strategies. The analyzing of the drone feature may include injecting the GPS spoofing signal to analyze a safety device mechanism (GPS fail-safe) and a path-following algorithm of the target drone.

A handheld countermeasure device is disclosed herein. The device can include a hand-held form factor body. The device can include disruption components, a directional antenna, and a processor. The disruption components can be configured to generate a disruptive signal. The directional antenna can be configured to emit the disruptive signal. The processor can be configured to determine a position of the handheld countermeasure device based on a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signal. The processor can be configured to load a device profile for the handheld countermeasure device based on the position of the handheld countermeasure device.
Electronically steerable parasitic array antenna process
A process for an electronically steerable parasitic array (ESPAR) antenna includes operating the ESPAR antenna with a receiver in Normal Mode until an internal flag is generated by the receiver indicating jamming RF noise preventing Normal Mode operation, causing the ESPAR antenna to switch to Anti-jam Mode. Anti-jam Mode includes a Search Mode and a Track Mode. The ESPAR antenna is steered in Search Mode, causing the ESPAR antenna to beam in a circular pattern to locate a spatial direction of the jamming RF noise, identify the spatial direction of the jamming RF noise preventing Normal Mode operation, and place a null in the spatial direction of the jamming RF noise. The ESPAR antenna switches to Track Mode to maintain the null in the spatial direction of the jamming RF noise until the jamming RF noise is not present. The ESPAR antenna then returns to operating in Normal Mode.
