Method and apparatus for sidelink communication based on feedback
An operation method of a receiving terminal in sidelink communications may comprise: receiving one or more transport blocks (TBs) from a transmitting terminal; generating hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) responses for code block groups (CBGs) included in each of the one or more TBs; selecting one or more HARQ responses from among the HARQ responses based on priorities; and transmitting the one or more HARQ responses to the transmitting terminal through a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) resource.
COMPRESSED ORTHOGONAL FREQUENCY DIVISION MULTIPLEXING (OFDM) SYMBOLS IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A boundary within a last orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol of a PHY data unit is determined. Pre-encoder padding bits are added to a set of information bits to generate a set of padded information bits such that the set of padded information bits, after being encoded, fill one or more OFDM symbols up to the boundary within the last OFDM symbol. The set of padded information bits are encoded to generate a set of coded bits. A PHY preamble is generated to include a subfield that indicates the boundary. The one or more OFDM symbols are generated to include (i) the set of coded information bits in the one or more OFDM symbols up to the boundary to allow a receiving device to stop decoding the one or more OFDM symbols at the boundary, and (ii) post-encoder padding bits in the last OFDM symbol following the boundary.
USER TERMINAL AND RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD
The present invention is designed so that broadcast information is transmitted and received adequately even when the bandwidth to use is limited to partial reduced bandwidths in a system bandwidth and the broadcast information is transmitted and received in repetitions over multiple subframes. A user terminal, in which the bandwidth to use is limited to a partial reduced bandwidth in a system bandwidth, has a receiving section that receives first system information and second system information, and a control section that acquires transmission information, which includes the repetition factor for the second system information, from the first system information, and the receiving section receives the second system information based on the transmission information.
CODING AND MODULATION APPARATUS USING NON-UNIFORM CONSTELLATION
A coding and modulation apparatus and method are presented. The apparatus comprises an encoder that encodes input data into cell words, and a modulator that modulates said cell words into constellation values of a non-uniform constellation. The modulator is configured to use, based on the total number M of constellation points of the constellation and the code rate, a non-uniform constellation from one or several groupsof constellations each comprising one or more constellations.
Dynamic outroute load balancing and multicast
An apparatus, system, and method for balancing traffic loads on beam outroutes that contain both multicast and unicast traffic. An outroute is designated for supplying at least multicast traffic within a beam of a satellite communication system. Terminals interested in receiving the multicast traffic are moved to the designated outroute. Traffic loads on all outroutes within the beam, including the designated outroute, are compared to determine if variations in the traffic loads exceed a predetermined threshold. A load balancing routine is performed to redistribute the traffic loads on all outroutes, while excluding any terminal that is actively receiving the multicast traffic from the load balancing routine.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD
A wireless communication device and a wireless communication method. The wireless communication device includes one or more processors. The processor is configured to estimate an equivalent channel from a base station to user equipment based on a user equipment specific reference signal from the base station, and generate, according to the estimated equivalent channel, a channel state indication used to be fed back to the base station.
Uplink Data Transmission Method and Apparatus
Embodiments disclose an uplink data transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: determining M transmission areas allocated to a terminal device, and generating first information used to indicate the M transmission areas, where M is a positive integer, and the transmission area represents an air interface time-frequency resource that includes a time range and a frequency range that are specified by a communications system. The method also includes determining, for each transmission area of the M transmission areas, second information used to indicate a transport block size. The method also includes sending an indication message to the terminal device, so that the terminal device transmits uplink data according to the indication message, where the indication message includes the first information and the second information.
Communication device and communication method
A communication device that applies an error in an upper layer in addition to error correction in a physical layer is provided. The communication device includes an acquisition unit that acquires control information regarding forward error correction (FEC) of an upper layer and control information regarding FEC of a lower layer, an encoding-decoding unit that performs error correction encoding or decoding of an information sequence in the upper layer according to control information regarding the FEC of the upper layer, and a puncturing processing unit that performs puncturing or depuncturing in the upper layer. The information sequence after FEC encoding of the upper layer is divided into blocks, and puncturing and interleaving are performed in units of blocks.
COLLABORATIVE BROADCASTING AND BI-DIRECTIONAL NETWORK TRANSMISSION
A system and method for collaborative broadcasting and bi-directional network transmission. Such a system may comprise a broadcast transmission source that uses a one-to-many broadcasting method, a bi-directional network that uses a one-to-one broadcasting method, and a receiver apparatus configured to receive broadcasts from the broadcast transmission source and communicate with the bi-directional network. When the receiver apparatus receives a broadcast from the broadcast transmission source, and when the broadcast is partially damaged or missing, the receiver apparatus is configured to communicate with the bi-directional network and request the damaged or missing data.
Systems and methods for NR V2X CSI feedback without dedicated reference signals
A user equipment (UE) configured for multi-antenna communication estimates at least one of a rank indicator and a channel quality indicator for device to device (D2D) based on communication data associated with a plurality of packets communicated using D2D communication and without using a dedicated reference signal for D2D communication. The UE may be configured as at least one of a transmitter (Tx) and a receiver (Rx) for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication through a sidelink channel.
