Device and method for reliable classification of wireless signals

A machine learning (ML) agent operates at a transmitter to optimize signals transmitted across a communications channel. A physical signal modifier modifies a physical layer signal prior to transmission as a function of a set of signal modification parameters to produce a modified physical layer signal. The ML agent parses a feedback signal from a receiver across the communications channel, and determines a present tuning status as a function of the signal modification parameters and the feedback signal. The ML agent generates subsequent signal modification parameters based on the present tuning status and a set of stored tuning statuses, thereby updating the physical signal modifier to generate a subsequent modified physical layer signal to be transmitted across the communications channel.

RESOLVING A FAILURE IN COMMUNICATION WITHIN A WIRELESS BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE
20230078545 · 2023-03-16 ·

Methods, apparatuses, systems, devices, and non-transitory for resolving a failure in communication within a wireless battery management system (BMS) of a vehicle are disclosed. In a particular embodiment, a wireless network controller (WNC) of a wireless BMS determines that there is a failure in communication between the WNC and one or more module measurement systems (MMS). The WNC also determines a background radio frequency (RF) power level of a communication channel between the WNC and the one or more MMS and based on the determined background RF power level, selects one or more actions to perform in an attempt to correct the failure in communication between the WNC and the one or more MMS. In this particular embodiment, the WNC performs the selected one or more actions in an attempt to correct the failure in communication.

Base station and signal transmission configuration method, and signal measurement device and method therefor

The present embodiments relate to a method and device for obtaining location information of a terminal by using a wireless communication system. Provided according to an embodiment is a device for acquiring the location information of a terminal, the device comprising at least one downlink signal receiver, at least one uplink signal receiver, and a controller for controlling the downlink signal receiver and uplink signal receiver, wherein the controller configures uplink resource assignment information on the basis of control information received by the downlink signal receiver and determines whether an uplink signal is received, on the basis of the uplink resource allocation information.

DYNAMIC CONTROL OF DATA BURSTS

Examples of techniques for dynamically controlling data bursts are described. In an example, an access point (AP) monitors a link quality between the AP and a client device associated with the AP. The AP determines a channel occupancy of a channel in which the AP is configured to operate. In response to determining that the channel occupancy is less than a channel busy threshold, the AP modifies a burst duration for traffic flow between the AP and the client device based on the link quality. The AP communicates with the client device using the channel for the modified burst duration.

User grouping for multi-user MIMO

In one embodiment, a method includes sending SRS received from a plurality of UEs associated with the base station to a DU associated with the base station, receiving information regarding a subset of the plurality of UEs selected for downlink data transmissions for an RBG, multi-user data to be transmitted to UEs in the subset, and identities of selected beams among a plurality of pre-determined beams to be associated with the UEs in the subset from the DU, where each of the plurality of pre-determined beams corresponds to a DFT vector, computing a precoding matrix for the RBG based on IDFT vectors corresponding to the selected beams, preparing pre-coded multi-user data by applying the precoding matrix to the multi-user data, and transmitting the pre-coded multi-user data to the UEs in the subset for the RBG using MIMO technologies.

Methods and systems are provided for dynamically capping an MCS index. A determination that one or more user devices are serviced by a sector of a cell site that has a Sector Power Ratio (SPR) above a threshold is made. Based on the SPR being above the threshold, the MCS index of the one or more user devices is capped. In response to the capped MCS index, a first Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) value is assigned to at least one of the one or more user devices based on a triangulation area corresponding to a location of the at least one of the one or more user devices.

This application discloses an adaptive transmission method for satellite communication. First, a receive end determines a redundancy version index; second, the receive end feeds back a redundancy version index signal to a transmit end; then, the transmit end receives the redundancy version index fed back by the receive end, and performs operations such as demodulation and decoding on the redundancy version index signal, to obtain the redundancy version index; and then, the transmit end obtains a corresponding redundancy version combination based on the obtained redundancy version index; and finally, the transmit end selects a proper diversity mode for transmission based on the obtained redundancy version combination.
