TRANSCODING IN SECURITY CAMERA CAMERA APPLICATIONS
20230262234 · 2023-08-17 ·

The disclosure is related to adaptive transcoding of video streams from a camera. A camera system includes a camera and a base station connected to each other in a first communication network, which can be a wireless network. When a user requests to view a video from the camera, the base station obtains a video stream from the camera, transcodes the video stream, based on one or more input parameters, to generate a transcoded video stream, and transmits the transcoded video stream to a user device. The base station can transcode the video stream locally, e.g., within the base station, or in a cloud network based on transcoding location factors. Further, the camera system can also determine whether to stream the video to the user directly from the base station or from the cloud network based on streaming location factors.

Link adaptation correction for low latency MU-MIMO

A method of operating a communication node according to some embodiments includes generating (400) a link adaptation for a downlink transmission to a plurality of UEs based on first channel state information, generating (402) estimated SINR values for the UEs based on the link adaptation, obtaining (404) new channel state information for the UEs, generating (406) updated estimated SINR value based on the new channel state information and the link adaptation, modifying (408) a power allocation for the UEs based on the updated estimated SINR, and transmitting (410) data to the UEs using the link adaptation and the modified power allocation.

Uplink repetition enhancement

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a wireless device to perform methods for enhancing uplink (UL) repetitions for an associated transport block. A user equipment device (UE) may be configured to transmit an indication of cancellation of remaining UL repetitions to a network, e.g., to a network entity, such as a base station, e.g., based, at least in part, on monitored channel conditions. Additionally, a network, e.g., a network entity such as a base station, may be configured to transmit an indication of cancellation of remaining UL repetitions to a UE, e.g., based on successful reception of the associated transport block.

DEVICE COMMUNICATION INTERPRETATION BASED ON PROCESS STATE
20210367706 · 2021-11-25 ·

Examples disclosed herein relate to interpreting a device communication based on process state. In one implementation, first electronic device transmits a request for data to a second electronic device. For example, the second electronic device may not include a capability to independently send a message to the first electronic device. The first electronic device may determine based on stored process state information whether a response received from the second electronic device is associated with at least one of an acknowledgment of previously data sent, an amount of data available to transmit to the first electronic device, and the available data.

Control field for resource request with multiple formats
11228391 · 2022-01-18 · ·

A first communication device determines an amount of data queued at the first communication device for transmission. When a control field is to be generated according to a first format, the first communication device determines a scaling value (SV) and an unscaled value (UV) corresponding to the determined amount of data queued for transmission such that a result of SV multiplied by BV indicates the determined amount of data queued for transmission, and generates the control field to include i) a scaling factor subfield set to indicate the SV, and ii) an unscaled queue size subfield set to indicate the BV. When the control field is to be generated according to a second format, the first communication generates the control field to include a queue size subfield set to indicate the determined amount of data queued for transmission and such that the control field does not include the scaling factor subfield.

MULTI-SENSOR MOTION DETECTION
