According to some embodiments, a method of operation of a transmit node in a wireless communication system comprises performing polar encoding of a set of K information bits to thereby generate a set of polar-encoded information bits. The K information bits are mapped to the first K bit locations in an information sequence SN. The information sequence SN is a ranked sequence of N information bit locations among a plurality of input bits for the polar encoding where N is equivalent to a code length. A size of the information sequence SN is greater than or equal to K. The information sequence SN is optimized for the specific value of the code length (N). The method may further comprise transmitting the set of polar-encoded information bits.

An automatic gain control method, sensor (700), and radio device (900); by means of using the saturation information of a test echo unit to adjust the gain coefficient of a transmitting and receiving link, it is ensured that the received signal power used for target detection is located within a rated threshold range, further improving the accuracy of sensor (700) target detection, and avoiding defects such as missed detection, false detection, and even blindness.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FLEXIBLE TRIGGERING OF CSI REPORTS

Systems and methods for flexible triggering of Channel State Information (CSI) reports are provided. A method performed by a wireless device for transmitting a CSI report according to a timeline requirement includes one or more of: determining to enable timeline switching; receiving an instruction to determine a first CSI report; determining to stop determining an existing ongoing second CSI report; determining the first CSI report; and transmitting the first CSI report. In this way, some embodiments allow ultra-low latency CSI reporting also for the cases when the wireless device is already in the ongoing process of determining a CSI report. In some embodiments, Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication (URLLC) CSI reports are allowed to “override” previous CSI calculations. Some embodiments achieve more flexible triggering of URLLC CSI reports so that the ultra-low latency CSI timeline can be applied for more cases, reducing the CSI latency and resulting in more reliable URLLC scheduling.

ONLINE ADJUSTMENT FOR CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a set of reference signals from a base station and may determine a first set of channel state parameters. The UE may determine one or more preprocessed decoder parameters based on a downlink channel decoder of the UE and may perform one or more signal processing operations to determine one or more adjustment values for the first set of channel state parameters. The UE may transmit an indication of a the one or more adjustment values to the base station. In some implementations, the UE may transmit an indication of the one or more preprocessed decoder parameters to the base station and the base station may perform the one or more signal processing operations to determine the one or more adjustment values.

Systems and methods for multi-carrier signal echo management using pseudo-extensions

A receiver is configured to capture a plurality of linearly distorted OFDM symbols transmitted over a signal path. The receiver forms the captured OFDM symbols into an overlapped compound data block that includes payload data and at least one pseudo-extension, processes the overlapped compound block with circular convolution in the time domain using an inverse channel response, or frequency domain equalization, to produce an equalized compound block, and discards end portions of the equalized block to produce a narrow equalized block. The receiver cascades multiple narrow equalized blocks to form a de-ghosted signal stream of OFDM symbols. The OFDM symbols may be OFDM or OFDMA, and may or may not include a cyclic prefix, which will have a different length from the pseudo-extension.
