METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIA FOR MEASURING DATA INTEGRITY IN TIME SENSITIVE NETWORKS
Methods, systems, and computer readable media for measuring data integrity in time sensitive networks. An example method for testing a time sensitive network (TSN) device includes calculating a data integrity value for a preemptable frame. The method includes appending the data integrity value to an end of the preemptable frame and transmitting the preemptable frame to the TSN device, causing the TSN device to fragment the preemptable frame or to reassemble the preemptable frame after fragmentation. The method includes receiving the preemptable frame after traversing the TSN device and validating the data integrity value of the preemptable frame after traversing the TSN device.
Techniques to provide a cyclic redundancy check for low density parity check code codewords
Techniques are described for wireless communication. One method includes segmenting a payload into a plurality of code blocks; generating, for each code block, a cyclic redundancy check (CRC); encoding each code block and associated CRC in one or more codewords of a plurality of codewords; and transmitting the codewords. The encoding is based at least in part on a low density parity check code (LDPCC) encoding type. Another method includes receiving a plurality of codewords associated with a payload encoded using a LDPCC encoding type; decoding a set of the codewords associated with the first payload and a CRC; and transmitting one of an acknowledgement (ACK) or a non-acknowledgement (NAK) for the set of the codewords.
COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS APPLIED TO MULTI-LINK DEVICE IN WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK
This application provides a communication method, an access network device, a terminal device, and a core network device. In a process in which the terminal device is handed over from a first access network device to a second access network device, the second access network device learns of first service progress of the first access network device based on a first sequence number of a data packet forwarded by the first access network device, without introducing additional progress exchange information between the two access network devices.
Base station, terminal, and communication method
A self-contained operation using a time-unit configuration taking into consideration HARQ processes is performed. In base station, transmission section transmits a downlink signal in a downlink transmission region in a time unit composed of the downlink transmission region, an uplink transmission region, and a gap interval that is a switching point from the downlink transmission region to the uplink transmission region; and reception section receives an uplink signal in the uplink transmission region in the time unit. Each time unit includes the downlink transmission region and the uplink transmission region for each of HARQ processes.
DATA PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS
Embodiments of this application provide a data processing method and apparatus, and relate to the communication field, to improve spectral efficiency in network coding-based data transmission. The method includes a transmit end device generating a protocol data unit (PDU) based on a reference size and K network coded packets, generating a transport block (TB) based on the PDU, and outputting the TB.
Apparatus and method for delivering transport characteristics of multimedia data
There are provided a method and apparatus for delivering transport characteristics of multimedia data. According to an aspect of the present invention, transport characteristics of media data that can be divided in a unit of a Media Processing Unit (MPU) are created in a unit of a predetermined number of MPUs, the created transport characteristics and a flag indicating presence or absence of the created transport characteristics are inserted into the media data, and the resultant media data is delivered. Accordingly, by using transport characteristics in units of media data unit groups, each media data unit corresponding to a short time length, it is possible to effectively control Quality of Service (QoS) in a dynamically changing transport environment, like a mobile network.
MEDICAL DEVICE WITH A DATA TRANSFER SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENSURING THE COMPLETENESS OF A DATA STREAM
A medical device includes a data transfer system with a transmitter device designed to send a data stream. At least one receiver device receives the data stream, and at least one transfer device transfers the data stream from the transmitter device to the receiver device. The transmitter device divides the data stream into individual data packets with a predetermined format. The receiver device includes a completeness checking mechanism that receives the individual data packets in the predetermined format and ensures the completeness of the data stream.
Transmission method and transmission device
A transmission method includes encoding processing that generates an encoded block, modulation processing that generates symbols from the encoded block, phase change processing that changes the phase of the symbols, and transmission processing that arranges the symbols in data carriers and transmits the symbols. The transmission processing configures a frame by arranging symbol groups in order in the frequency direction and transmits the frame. The symbol groups each include a symbol generated from a first encoded block and a symbol generated from a second encoded block. The phase change processing includes changing the phase of symbols the same symbol group using the same phase change value.
Multi-stride packet payload mapping for robust transmission of data
Systems and methods for packet payload mapping for robust transmission of data are described. For example, methods may include receiving, using a network interface, packets that each respectively include a primary frame and one or more preceding frames from the sequence of frames of data that are separated from the primary frame in the sequence of frames by a respective multiple of a stride parameter; storing the frames of the packets in a buffer with entries that each hold the primary frame and the one or more preceding frames of a packet; reading a first frame from the buffer as the primary frame from one of the entries; determining that a packet with a primary frame that is a next frame in the sequence has been lost; and, responsive to the determination, reading the next frame from the buffer as a preceding frame from one of the entries.
Data processing system, memory controller therefor, and operating method thereof
A data processing system may include a memory module; and a controller configured to exchange data with the memory module in response to a request received from a host. The controller divide a first data into a first data group to error correction and a second data group not to error correction in response to the first data and a first data write request received from the host, generates a first meta data for error correction for the first data group, configures a first data chunk that includes the first data and the first meta data, and transmits the first data chunk to the memory module.
