Systems and methods for wireless communications are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a wireless communication method includes applying, by a base station, code sequences or scrambling codes to repetitions of broadcast information of a plurality of resources of a cell of the base station. Each of the code sequence or the scrambling codes being specific to a corresponding one of the plurality of resources. Each of the plurality of resources is a beam of the cell. In addition, the base station transmits, to a wireless communication device, the repetitions of the broadcast information with the code sequences or the scrambling codes applied.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR A HYBRID AUTOMATIC REPEAT REQUEST FEEDBACK TRANSMISSION

An apparatus and a method for a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback transmission are provided. A method for a HARQ feedback transmission includes receiving a multicast broadcast service (MBS) transport block (TB) from a base station, decoding the MBS TB, and transmitting, to the base station, a HARQ feedback in a form of a negative acknowledgement (NACK)-only report when the UE incorrectly decodes the MBS TB.

A data sending method is provided. The method includes: allocating, by a Media Access Control (MAC) entity of a first network node, data packets to at least one hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) unit of at least two cells, where the at least two cells use different radio access technologies RATs, the at least two cells share one HARQ unit or each of the at least two cells is corresponding to one HARQ unit, and the HARQ unit is a HARQ entity and/or a HARQ process; and sending, by the first network node, the data packets to a second network node by using the at least two cells. According to the foregoing solution, the data packets are allocated to the at least one HARQ unit of the at least two cells by using a shared MAC layer, so as to effectively reduce an end-to-end delay.

Probability forwarding in a flood fill mesh radio network

Disclosed is an improved implementation of a flood fill mesh network that utilizes probability forwarding for rebroadcasting network messages. The forwarding probability may be determined based on analyzing a network topology map constructed by each network node relative to its neighbor nodes communicating on the network and derived from state information contained in synchronization frames broadcasted by the network nodes on the network. The forwarding probability may comprise a statistical probability that a message frame received by a network node will be forwarded to the intended destination network node by one or more of the network node's neighbor network nodes.

Robust broadcast via relayed retransmission

Systems and methods for broadcasting wireless data via one or more retransmission schemes to increase the packet reception in a wireless system. One or more devices of the system are configured to listen for an initial data packet from a source device. Should one or more devices successfully receive the initial packet, each device that received the packet can unconditionally retransmit a copy of the payload of the initial packet such that any device that failed to receive the initial packet payload has an opportunity to receive it during the respective retransmissions. Similarly, each device of the system can send acknowledgements to the other system devices that indicate whether they received the initial packet. Should one or more of the devices successfully receive the initial packet, the devices can conditionally retransmit a copy of the missing payload when one or more devices indicates they have failed to receive it.

STATE TRANSITION FEEDBACK

Method and apparatus for signaling enabling a state transition of a transmission mode. The apparatus measures at least one reference signal from a serving TRP to determine a link quality between the UE and the serving TRP. The apparatus transmits feedback including a state transition indication if the link quality between the UE and the serving TRP falls below a threshold. The feedback enables a state transition of a transmission mode.

Methods and systems for improving the robustness of wireless communications. The methods and systems provided transmit data packets over a first isochronous stream and transmit one or more supplemental data packets over the same time intervals. The one or more supplemental data packets are used to re-create and/or enhance at least a portion of one or more data packets of the plurality of data packets that have already been sent. Alternatively, the one or more supplemental data packets are used to create and/or enhance at least a portion of one or more data packets of the plurality of data packets that will be received during the next isochronous intervals. The methods and system described herein allow for increased robustness by allowing for better retransmission with correctly received packets and the methods set forth herein work with any Bluetooth broadcaster sink without modification.

Method and system for data transfer in a Bluetooth low energy network

A method for communicating data between Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices in a network (100) including multiple nodes (200, 202). The method includes starting a scan mode at a first node (200) having data to send; and determining whether data to send has been transmitted to the first node from an upstream node or a downstream node. If the data to send was received from a downstream node, the first node begins a scan mode. If the data to send was received from an upstream node, the first node begins an ADV event.

Sidelink HARQ feedback transmission method and device thereof

Provided are a method and device for providing vehicle-to-everything (V2X) services in next generation wireless access technology (New RAT). The method controls the sidelink HARQ feedback operation by a terminal. A PSSCH scheduled by a PSCCH including sidelink control information is received from a transmitting terminal. Wireless resources of a PSFCH including HARQ feedback information regarding the PSSCH are determined and allocated in one symbol. The PSFCH, allocated in the one symbol, are repeatedly transmitted to the transmitting terminal in two consecutive symbols.

Beam sweeping patterns for single frequency network broadcast channel

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The method includes a method for wireless communications at a base station. The method includes transmitting a message to a number of user equipments (UEs) over a single frequency network channel using a first beam sweep pattern. The method also includes identifying a second beam sweep pattern from a plurality of beam sweep patterns that is different from the first beam sweep pattern for retransmissions of the message. The method further includes transmitting a retransmission of the message to the plurality of UEs over the single frequency network channel using the second beam sweep pattern.
