STATE TRANSITION FEEDBACK
Method and apparatus for signaling enabling a state transition of a transmission mode. The apparatus measures at least one reference signal from a serving TRP to determine a link quality between the UE and the serving TRP. The apparatus transmits feedback including a state transition indication if the link quality between the UE and the serving TRP falls below a threshold. The feedback enables a state transition of a transmission mode.
Lattice reduction in wireless communication
Methods, systems and devices for lattice reduction in decision feedback equalizers for orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) modulation are described. An exemplary wireless communication method, implementable by a wireless communication receiver apparatus, includes receiving a signal comprising information bits modulated using OTFS modulation scheme. Each delay-Doppler bin in the signal is modulated using a quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) mapping. The method also includes estimating the information bits based on an inverse of a single error covariance matrix of the signal, with the single error covariance matrix being representative of an estimation error for all delay-Doppler bins in the signal.
Lattice reduction in wireless communication
Methods, systems and devices for lattice reduction in decision feedback equalizers for orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) modulation are described. An exemplary wireless communication method, implementable by a wireless communication receiver apparatus, includes receiving a signal comprising information bits modulated using OTFS modulation scheme. Each delay-Doppler bin in the signal is modulated using a quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) mapping. The method also includes estimating the information bits based on an inverse of a single error covariance matrix of the signal, with the single error covariance matrix being representative of an estimation error for all delay-Doppler bins in the signal.

Communication method and apparatus
In accordance with an embodiment, the application discloses a communication method that includes the operations: generating downlink control information DCI; and sending the DCI to a terminal device. The DCI includes indication information used to indicate a single codeword scheduled by using the DCI, or a correspondence between a single codeword scheduled by using the DCI and a first resource. Alternatively, the DCI includes a first number of a hybrid automatic repeat request HARQ process corresponding to a single codeword scheduled by using the DCI, where a quantity of values of the first number is greater than a quantity of values of a second number of an HARQ process used by either one codeword of DCI used to schedule two codewords. In embodiments of the application, a utilization rate of an HARQ buffer can be improved.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR POST-DETECT COMBINING OF A PLURALITY OF DOWNLINK SIGNALS REPRESENTATIVE OF A COMMUNICATION SIGNAL
Embodiments of systems and methods for combining downlink signals representative of a communication signal are provided herein. An example method comprises receiving samples of the downlink signals from multiple antenna feeds; generating first symbols for a first signal and second symbols for a second signal based on performing timing recovery operations on the first signal and the second signal, respectively; generating offset information based on performing a correlator operation on the first and second symbols; and combining the first and second signals based on performing a weighted combiner operation. At least one of the first timing recovery operation, the second timing recovery operation, the correlator operation, and the combing are performed in a plurality of processing blocks in one or more processors, wherein the first and second processing block operate in parallel.
