QUARDRATURE PHASE-SHIFTING KEYING RECEPTION FOR NON-EQUIPROBABLE BIT RECEPTION
A method is performed by a wireless device for transmitting Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) feedback. The wireless device, for an uplink transmission to be transmitted on an uplink channel, applies a modified modulation constellation for a HARQ feedback. The modified modulation constellation has a modified Acknowledgment/Non-Acknowledgment (ACK/NACK) assignment as compared to a normal modulation constellation having a normal ACK/NACK assignment. The wireless device further transmits HARQ feedback in the uplink transmission according to the modified modulation constellation.

The method includes: determining, on an uplink feedback resource unit within a first downlink resource range currently occupied during downlink transmission, whether first response information corresponding to the first downlink resource range is successfully transmitted to a base station, wherein the uplink feedback resource unit includes a resource unit for transmitting the first response information to the base station; when the first response information is transmitted unsuccessfully, determining a target feedback resource unit within at least one second downlink resource range subsequently occupied during the downlink transmission; and retransmitting, on the target feedback resource unit, the first response information to the base station.
Message rearrangement for improved wireless code performance
A system and method for permuting known and unknown message bits before encoding to provide a beneficial rearrangement of bits. Such a method can improve distance properties in the resulting subcode. In various embodiments, the structure of a beneficial rearrangement is dependent on the parameters of how known and unknown bits are grouped and on the specific type of code being used. Given these two parameters, the message bits can be rearranged to more efficiently leverage any apriori knowledge.
RADIO COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD
Provided is a radio communication device which can make Acknowledgement (ACK) reception quality and Negative Acknowledgement (NACK) reception quality to be equal to each other. The device includes: a scrambling unit (214) which multiplies a response signal after modulated, by a scrambling code “1” or “e.sup.−j(π/2)” so as to rotate a constellation for each of response signals on a cyclic shift axis; a spread unit (215) which performs a primary spread of the response signal by using a Zero Auto Correlation (ZAC) sequence set by a control unit (209); and a spread unit (218) which performs a secondary spread of the response signal after subjected to the primary spread, by using a block-wise spread code sequence set by the control unit (209).
UPLINK FEEDBACK METHODS FOR OPERATING WITH A LARGE NUMBER OF CARRIERS
A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive one or more physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions and each PDSCH transmission may be associated with downlink control information (DCI) and a group of PDSCH transmissions. Further, the WTRU may determine a first group or a second group based on an indication received in DCI associated with at least one of the PDSCH transmissions. Then, the WTRU may generate hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgment (ACK) feedback for data received in one or more PDSCH transmissions associated with the determined group. Moreover, the WTRU may transmit the HARQ-ACK feedback. In an example, the DCI which includes the indication may schedule a plurality of PDSCH transmissions included in the determined group. In another example, the DCI which includes the indication may further include a first codepoint mapped to the first group or a second codepoint mapped to the second group.
