ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TRANSMISSION POWER ACCORDING TO OVER-TEMPERATURE STATE IN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
According to various embodiments, an electronic device may comprise: a temperature sensor; a wireless communication circuit; and a processor electrically connected to the wireless communication circuit, wherein the processor is configured to: receive a temperature sensed by the temperature sensor; determine a first maximum transmission power as a maximum transmission power of uplink transmission data to be transmitted through the wireless communication circuit, identify a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index and a number of resource blocks (RBs), when the received temperature is higher than a predetermined value, based on the identified the MCS index and the number of RBs, determine a second maximum transmission power, and change the first maximum transmission power to the second maximum transmission power, wherein the second maximum transmission power is lower than the first maximum transmission power.
First-pass continuous read level calibration
Described herein are embodiments related to first-pass continuous read level calibration (cRLC) operations on memory cells of memory systems. A processing device determines that a first programming pass of a programming operation has been performed on a memory cell of a memory component. The processing device performs a cRLC operation on the memory cell to calibrate a read level threshold between a first first-pass programming distribution and a second first-pass programming distribution before a second programming pass of the programming operation is performed on the memory cell.
System and method for multiplexing of tracking reference signal and synchronization signal block
Described is an apparatus of a User Equipment (UE) operable to communicate with a fifth-generation Evolved Node-B (gNB) on a wireless network. The apparatus may comprise a first circuitry and a second circuitry. The first circuitry may be operable to process a Tracking Reference Signal (TRS) transmission and to process a Synchronizati on Signal block (SS-block) transmission. The second circuitry may be operable to measure a reference signal parameter based on the TRS transmission and the SS-block transmission.
Methods and systems for determing stress on a low density parity check (LDPC) process for a network using orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM)
A method, an apparatus and a system for determining stress on a low density parity check (LDPC) process for a network using orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM).
Systems and methods for dynamic selection of a physical uplink control channel format
A base station may receive uplink data identifying uplink performance indicators associated with user equipment connected to the base station, and may receive tuning factors associated with shared channel traffic received by the user equipment and quality of service requirements of the user equipment. The base station may determine a total score associated with utilizing a long duration physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) format for uplink control information based on the uplink data and the tuning factors. The base station may determine that the total score satisfies a threshold score and may switch to the long duration PUCCH format for the uplink control information based on the total score satisfying the threshold score. The base station may perform one or more actions based on switching to the long duration PUCCH format for the uplink control information.
WIRELESS NETWORK ACCESS POINT AND METHOD FOR OPERATION THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a computer-implemented method of operating a wireless network access point of a wireless network. The method includes wirelessly exchanging management frames with a device to attach the device to the access point, thereby establishing: a wireless downlink data communication channel from the access point to the device, and a wireless uplink data communication channel from the device to the access point. The method further includes performing a wireless link test comprising: transmitting a test frame to the device on the downlink channel, the test frame having a length greater than each of the management frames, including a sequence of test data bits, and being configured to require a mirror response comprising the sequence of test data bits; monitoring for receipt of the mirror response on the uplink; and, if the mirror response is received, determining the test is passed.
Puncturing and retransmission techniques for encoded transmissions
Various aspects of the disclosure relate to retransmission techniques for communication of information (e.g., for wireless communication). In some aspects, if a device's first transmission including punctured encoded data fails, the device's second transmission (e.g., in response to a NAK) may involve transmitting the punctured bits. In some aspects, the coding rate used for encoding the data for the first transmission is selected to meet an error rate (e.g., a block error rate) for the second transmission. The second transmission may also include at least some of the encoded data. In some aspects, the puncturing may be performed according to a puncture pattern that is generated based on bit error probabilities of bit positions for encoded data.
Method and device for transmitting and receiving configuration information
There is provided a method and a device for transmitting and receiving configuration information. The method includes: determining, by a network device, configuration information, where the configuration information is configured to indicate, for a terminal device, a first CQI value range under a first target BLER; and transmitting, by the network device, the configuration information to the terminal device. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the network device indicates the first CQI value range under the first BLER to the terminal device by using the configuration information, which can effectively save the overhead of high-level signaling, compared to by a manner of configuring a CQI table. In addition, since the CQI value range is configurable, not only the reliability of the CQI feedback but also efficiency of the CQI indication is improved.
