Shoe cover with bistable latch
Disclosed is an improved shoe cover with a bistable latch that allows for easy securing and removal of the shoe cover while providing a strong connection between the shoe and the shoe cover when in use. The shoe cover includes at least one bistable spring band at or around the toe, midsection, or heel of the cover for securing the cover to the shoe. In addition, a secondary attachment mechanism may be employed as well, which may include: a string-like material to encircle the shoe about its center, a semi-rigid structure on the inner-side of the cover; and/or an impressionable material located on or within the inner-side of the cover, so that it is directly exposed to the specialized shoe. The impressionable material will create a mold that is at least partially impermanent, permanent or semi-permanent.
Shoe cover with bistable latch
Disclosed is an improved shoe cover with a bistable latch that allows for easy securing and removal of the shoe cover while providing a strong connection between the shoe and the shoe cover when in use. The invention provides an athletic shoe protector for protecting and preserving the spikes on athletic shoes and further protects surfaces off of the playing field or track from being damaged by the spikes. The athletic shoe protector of the invention comprises a single-layer sole that is quickly and easily attachable and detachable from the spiked athletic shoe via an attaching means.

Water-proof protective shoe covering
A water-proof protective overshoe adapted to be worn over shoes to keep the shoes warm and dry is provided. The water-proof protective overshoe includes a body portion and a sole portion. The body portion may include one or more opening means, such as zippers, and one or more tightening means. The protective overshoes may be quickly put on and removed. The protective overshoe is adapted for use by players on the sidelines of an athletic game or match.

Pliable athletic foot guard
A foot guard to be worn with a shoe comprising an upper and a sole, said foot guard comprising: an upper comprising at least one pliable shock absorbent protective layer that covers the shoe; a top opening; and a bottom opening. The at least one protective layer comprises a plurality of protective strips protruding outward from the at least one protective layer that are raised with respect to the level of the at least one protective layer; extending from the bottom of one side of the upper, over the top of the upper, and down to the bottom of the opposite side of the upper; and ranging from the toe portion of the upper to the top opening. The protective strips and rows of the at least one protective layer are arranged in adjacent rows in an alternating pattern. The protective strips comprise a pliable shock absorbent material.

A foot guard to be worn with a shoe comprising an upper and a sole, said foot guard comprising: an upper comprising at least one pliable shock absorbent protective layer that covers the shoe; a top opening; and a bottom opening. The at least one protective layer comprises a plurality of protective strips protruding outward from the at least one protective layer that are raised with respect to the level of the at least one protective layer; extending from the bottom of one side of the upper, over the top of the upper, and down to the bottom of the opposite side of the upper; and ranging from the toe portion of the upper to the top opening. The protective strips and rows of the at least one protective layer are arranged in adjacent rows in an alternating pattern. The protective strips comprise a pliable shock absorbent material.
