Transmitting user data to a wireless communication device over a control channel
A wireless communication device (16A) is configured to receive user data from a radio network node (18) in a wireless communication system (10) that includes a data channel (26) over which user data is transmitted and a control channel (24) over which control data is transmitted. The device (16A) receives over the control channel (24) a hierarchically-modulated symbol (28) which conveys control data on a control-data modulation layer (30A) and conveys user data on a user-data modulation layer (30B). The control-data modulation layer (30A) is recoverable via demodulation at a lower order, and the user-data modulation layer (30B) is recoverable via demodulation at a higher order. The lower order is lower than the higher order and is generally predefined independent of conditions on the control channel (24). The device (16A) recovers the user data received over the control channel (24) by demodulating at least the user-data modulation layer (30B) at the higher order.

The coding and modulation method includes obtaining K to-be-encoded bits and a modulation scheme, and coding the K to-be-encoded bits, based on M bit levels of the modulation scheme, to obtain M code blocks, where M<M, a code length of an i.sup.th code block is N.sub.i, N.sub.i=M.sub.i*N, M.sub.i is a quantity of bit levels corresponding to the i.sup.th code block, N is a symbol block length, and 1?i?M. The disclosed method further includes modulating the M code blocks, according to a mapping relationship between the M code blocks and the M bit levels, to obtain and output a modulated symbol sequence, where a code block whose code length is M.sub.i*N corresponds to M.sub.i bit levels in the mapping relationship.
Modulation and detection of symbols with varied phase rotation
Embodiments provide a signal transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: modulating, by using a phase-shift keying PSK scheme with rotation of a first angle, at least a part of pilot information carried in at least one signaling symbol in a signaling field of a data packet, to obtain modulated pilot information; and sending, to a receive end, a data packet that carries the modulated pilot information. A modulation scheme different from a conventional modulation scheme is used in the embodiments to modulate pilot information carried in a signaling symbol in a signaling field of a data packet, so that a data packet format corresponding to the modulation scheme can be effectively detected at a receive end.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING UPLINK REFERENCE SIGNAL IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS
A method, performed by a user equipment (UE), of transmitting an uplink (UL) reference signal in a wireless communication system is provided. Radio analysis apparatus and method
A radio analysis apparatus includes: a processor that calculates a modulation index of a radio signal generated by performing frequency shift keying on a baseband signal, based on phase shift amounts of the radio signal; and a memory that holds information in which bit patterns of the baseband signal are associated with correction values for correcting the phase shift amounts that have dropped by band limitation on the baseband signal. The processor restores the bit patterns of the baseband signal based on the phase shift amounts of the radio signal, corrects the phase shift amounts of the radio signal by using the correction values corresponding to the restored bit patterns, and calculates the modulation index based on the corrected phase shift amounts.
