CO-MANAGEMENT ELIGIBILITY AND ENROLLMENT
This document relates to a process for managing remote devices within an organization. Upon receiving device state information from the remote device, a cloud-based management server can analyze the device state information of the remote devices, and categorize the remote devices into a number of categories that reflect each device's state with respect to co-management enrollment. The categories can be presented to a user in order to provide a comprehensive view of the state of various remote devices in relation to their co-management state. Various co-management enrollment actions can then be issued to the remote devices in order to enroll a device in co-management, or upgrade a co-management category associated with the device.
Integration method, device and system for multiple centralized units
The present disclosure provides an integration method for multiple centralized units, an integration device for multiple centralized units, and an integration system for multiple centralized units. The integration system for multiple centralized units includes a centralized unit center, the centralized unit center is configured to integrate multiple logical centralized units, the multiple logical centralized units share one or more function modules at corresponding levels according to a preset service requirement, and the function modules at the corresponding levels are configured to provide function services at the corresponding levels for the logical centralized units.
Communication system and server switching method
A communication system includes multiple servers each functioning as an active system or a standby system and a relay device that relays communication between a server of the active system and one or more client terminals operated by clients. Each of the servers includes a priority level determining unit that determines a priority level of each of the clients, a virtual port creating unit that creates, in the server, a virtual port corresponding to a virtual LAN assigned to each of the client terminals, and a communication processing unit (CPU) that instructs the relay device to change a destination of communication performed between the client terminal and the server to the virtual port. The CPU gives an instruction of change of the destination of the communication in order of highest to lowest priority level of the client when a malfunction occurs in another server of the active system.
DISTRIBUTED DIGITAL SECURITY SYSTEM
A distributed security system can include instances of a compute engine that can execute either locally in security agents on client devices or as cloud instances in a security network. Event data can be processed by elements of the distributed security system according to centrally-defined ontological definitions and/or configurations. Bounding managers of local security agents can control how much event data is sent to the security network. A storage engine in the security network can store event data received from client devices, can route event data to other elements of the security network, including cloud instances of the compute engine. An experimentation engine of the security network can also at least temporarily adjust other elements of the distributed security system during experiments or tests.

REGION-BASED DISTRIBUTED INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A region-based distributed information management system is described herein in which some or all of the operations typically performed by a centralized storage manager can be distributed to storage managers located in the various geographic regions. These regional storage managers can manage components of the information management system located in their respective geographic region, and communicate with the centralized storage manager (also referred to herein as a “master storage manager”) for synchronization purposes and/or to hand off operations that cannot be performed by the regional storage manager.
Asset user discovery data classification and risk evaluation
Methods, systems, and devices for asset discovery, user discovery, data classification, risk evaluation, and data/device security are described. The method includes retrieving data stored at one or more remote locations, summarizing the retrieved data at the one or more remote locations, transferring the summarized data from the one or more remote locations to the at least one computing device, processing the transferred data by the at least one computing device, discovering assets in technology environments, classifying data that resides on each asset of the discovered assets into a respective confidentiality group of multiple confidentiality groups, calculating one or more risk scores for the discovered assets or users of the discovered assets, or both, and performing a security action to protect data that resides on an asset of the discovered assets.
Systems and methods for collecting telematics data from telematics devices
Systems and methods for collecting telematics data from telematics devices are provided. A fleet management server includes a first and second data store operable to store a first and second set of telematics data associated with a first and second group of telematics devices. A plurality of gateway servers includes a first and second group of gateway servers in communication with the first and second group of telematics devices. The first and second group of gateway servers include at least one common gateway server. A unified downloader is operable to establish a communication channel between each gateway server in the first and second group of gateway servers and the unified downloader such that a single communication channel is established to each common gateway server. The communication channels can be multiplexed and transport asynchronous streams of telematics data. An event bus registers event records for the fleet management and gateway servers.

Network management using a distributed ledger
Examples include systems and methods for managing a network for example, an enterprise network using a distributed ledger. Some examples include maintaining a distributed ledger by a plurality of NMS units in the network. Use of such distributed ledger may allow communication among NMS units of the plurality of NMS units deployed in the network through the distributed ledger.
