Systems and methods for network quality testing are provided. Synthetic traffic may be sent through a first flow path and a second flow path. The second flow path includes a portion apportionable to the first flow path, internal to a server, and a portion apportionable to an external flow path, external to the server. Durations of traffic traveling through the first flow path and the second flow path are compared to determine the portion of the second flow path apportionable to the external flow path. In an example, time stamping may be performed by component(s) of the server, such as a kernel, to determine the durations of the traffic traveling through the first flow path and the second flow path.

Inferring quality of experience (QoE) based on choice of QoE inference model

In one example, a location of a potential bottleneck of network traffic in a network is identified. Based on the location of the potential bottleneck, a first QoE inference model is selected from a plurality of respective QoE inference models. The respective QoE inference models are each trained to infer a respective QoE of the network traffic based on one or more respective network traffic metrics generated by monitoring the network traffic at a respective location in the network. One or more first network traffic metrics of the one or more respective network traffic metrics are generated by monitoring the network traffic at a first respective location. The one or more first network traffic metrics are provided to the first QoE inference model to infer a first respective QoE.

The method also includes, upon receiving a subscription request for a subscription to the reporting service, establishing the subscription to the reporting service between the node and an external application node. The external application node is associated with the subscription request. The method furthermore includes providing the DSI in accordance with the subscription to the external application node.

The method includes identifying, by a diagnostic and remediation manager, a diagnostic event associated with a service of services; generating a dependency directed acyclic graph (DAG) associated with the service; generating health vectors associated with each node of the dependency DAG; updating the dependency DAG using the health vectors to generate an unhealthy subgraph; and remediating the service based on the unhealthy subgraph.
