Logical forwarding element identifier translation between datacenters

Some embodiments provide a method for a computing device that implements a first logical network gateway in a first datacenter to process data messages between data compute nodes (DCNs) belonging to the logical network and operating in the first datacenter and DCNs belonging to the logical network and operating in a second datacenter. From a host computer in the first datacenter, the method receives a logical network data message encapsulated with a first tunnel header including a first virtual network identifier corresponding to a logical forwarding element of the logical network. The method removes the first tunnel header and encapsulates the logical network data message with a second tunnel header include a second virtual network identifier corresponding to the logical forwarding element. The method transmits the logical network data message encapsulated with the second tunnel header to a second logical network gateway in the second datacenter.

A system and method for compiling and dynamically reconfiguring the management of functionalities carried among a set of multiple common compute nodes. During the inoperation of one node of the set of multiple common compute nodes, higher-criticality functionalities can be reassigned to other common nodes to ensure maintained operation of the higher-criticality functionalities.

EXTENSIBLE NETWORK TRAFFIC ENGINEERING PLATFORM FOR INCREASING NETWORK RESILIENCY IN CLOUD APPLICATIONS

In various examples, an extensible network traffic engineering platform monitors network traffic and application performance to dynamically update network ingress and egress communication paths for increasing performance of the application—such as a cloud gaming application, a cloud virtual reality (VR) application, and/or another high performance application types. Pluggable, distributed, application-centric network monitors, policy engines, and network configurators are implemented at the edge to detect degraded network and application performance and dynamically update network routing to account for the same.

METHOD AND UE FOR HANDLING UL NAS TRANSPORT MESSAGE FAILURE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK

Embodiments herein provide a method for communication by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication network. The method comprises: determining a failure in transmission of a uplink non-access stratum (UL NAS) transport message, determining whether the failure in the transmission of the UL NAS transport message is due to a Tracking Area identity (TAI) change from lower layers, and handling the failure in the transmission of the UL NAS transport message based on a TAI list sent from the wireless communication network, in response to determining that the failure in the transmission of the UL NAS transport message is due to the TAI change from the lower layers.

JOINING AND DIMENSIONAL ANNOTATION IN A STREAMING PIPELINE

Disclosed are embodiments for providing batch performance using a stream processor. In one embodiment, a method is disclosed comprising receiving, at a stream processor, an event, the stream processor including a plurality of processing stages; generating, by the stream processor, an augmented event based on the event, the augmented event including at least one additional field not appearing in the event, the additional field generated by an operation selected from the group consisting of a join or dimensional annotation operation; and emitting, by the stream processor, the augmented event to downstream consumer.

Apparatus and method of managing content name in information-centric networking

The present invention relates to a method and a device for fast forwarding a flow traffic in an information-centric networking (ICN). According to the present invention, a flow switching method for a network node of an information-centric networking (ICN) includes: identifying a data name contained in a received interest packet and identifying a flow name from the data name, thereby determining whether a flow entry corresponding to the identified flow name is present within a flow table (FT); identifying forwarding information base (FIB) entry information matched to the flow name from the corresponding flow entry and identifying an FIB entry corresponding to the FIB entry information; and transmitting the interest packet on the basis of interface information included in the identified FIB entry.

A network protocol analyzer module receives one or more networking log data files, where each of the one or more networking log data files is associated with a corresponding node of a dynamic routing network comprising one or more nodes, determines a network communication protocol associated with the dynamic routing network, retrieves a set of communication protocol rules associated with the network communication protocol, analyzes the one or more networking log data files in view of the set of communication protocol rules associated with the network communication protocol, and generates a combined output file for the one or more nodes of the dynamic routing network in view of the analysis.

System and method for facilitating efficient management of non-idempotent operations in a network interface controller (NIC)

A network interface controller (NIC) capable of efficient management of non-idempotent operations is provided. The NIC can be equipped with a network interface, storage management logic block, and an operation management logic block. During operation, the network interface can receive a request for an operation from a remote device. The storage management logic block can store, in a local data structure, outcome of operations executed by the NIC. The operation management logic block can determine whether the NIC has previously executed the operation. If the NIC has previously executed the operation, the operation management logic block can obtain an outcome of the operation from the data structure and generate a response comprising the obtained outcome for responding to the request.
