Device deployment and net work management using a self-service portal

Systems and methods for provisioning network services include receiving a provisioning request and, in response, initiating a first configuration operation in which a network address is assigned to a piece of network equipment for providing the network service. A network service path is established to the address such that when the equipment is connected to the network, a second configuration operation may be initiated in which the equipment is initialized to perform one or more network functions in support of the network service. Submission of provisioning requests may be conducted through a portal or similar environment that further enables users to analyze, modify, or otherwise manage their network equipment and services.

Data center network with packet spraying

A network system for a data center is described in which an access node sprays a data flow of packets over a logical tunnel to another access node. In one example, a method comprises establishing, by a plurality of access nodes, a logical tunnel over a plurality of data paths across a switch fabric between a source access node and a destination access node included within the plurality of access nodes, wherein the source access node is coupled to a source network device; and spraying, by the source access node, a data flow of packets over the logical tunnel to the destination access node, wherein the source access node receives the data flow of packets from the source network device, and wherein spraying the data flow of packets includes directing each of the packets within the data flow to a least loaded data path.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to for topology redundancy. A first device transmits to a second device a request for setup of a context of a third device served by the first device. The first device receives the context from the second device. The first device transmits the context to the third device for communication between the third device and the first device via a fourth device. The fourth device is managed by the second device.

Techniques for integrated access and backhaul (IAB) nodes

Various embodiments herein provide techniques for integrated access and backhaul (IAB) nodes. For example, embodiments include techniques associated with: rate-proportional routing for network coding; utilizing multiple routes in IAB networks; user equipment (UE) and parent selection for efficient topology in IAB networks; establishing efficient IAB topologies; and/or adaptive coded-forwarding for network coding. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

Multi-channel communication

Systems and methods implement multi-channel communication by remapping Ethernet frames. An Ethernet frame is captured leaving a first bridge of an Ethernet switch. A destination address of the Ethernet frame is matched to a remap rule and to a filter defined for the remap rule. The destination address of the Ethernet frame is updated based upon the remap rule, and the Ethernet frame is output to an Ethernet port corresponding to the updated destination address of the Ethernet frame. The remap rule and the filter allow the Ethernet switch to route traffic at an OSI model layer-4 level.
