A bulk material tender includes a mobile frame, a hopper, and a discharge system. The mobile frame has a left side and a right side. The hopper is disposed on the mobile frame. The discharge system is configured to discharge particulate matter from the hopper. The discharge system includes a discharge auger, a deploying actuator, and a positioning actuator. The discharge auger presents a proximal end and a distal end. The deploying actuator is configured to selectively emplace the discharge auger in a stowed orientation and a deployed orientation, wherein the distal end is adjacent to the hopper in the stowed orientation. The positioning actuator configured to selectively emplace the discharge auger along the left side and the right side of the mobile frame. Once emplaced, the discharge auger discharges particulate material from the hopper toward a target location.

Method and apparatus for buffer status report in mobile communication system

Method for radio communication with base station, by user equipment (UE), apparatus in UE for radio communication with base station, a method for radio communication with a UE by a base station, and an apparatus in a base station for radio communication with a UE are provided. The method for radio communication with a base station, by a UE, includes identifying whether an uplink resource allocated for data transmission to the base station is available, in response to a buffer status report for transmission to the base station being triggered; transmitting an uplink packet including the buffer status report using the available uplink resource, in response to the uplink resource being available; and transmitting a scheduling request to the base station, in response to the UE not having an available uplink resource and a first timer being expired, wherein the first timer starts when the buffer status report is triggered.

System and method for reporting packet characteristics in a network environment

A method is provided in one example and includes receiving a request to initiate a communication flow associated with a subscriber and identifying one or more parameters to be monitored for the communication flow. The method further includes extracting one or more bits from packets associated with the communication flow; the bits are used to determine an operating system associated with the communication flow. A policy decision can be executed for the communication flow based on the operating system associated with the communication flow. In more specific examples, the bits are sent to a next destination in response to a threshold being reached for at least one of the parameters. The parameters can be associated a volume parameter or a time parameter. The policy decision could include blocking traffic associated with the subscriber, initiating billing, redirecting the communication, managing a quality of service level for the communication flow, etc.

A communication system includes: a network configuration memory that stores network configuration information of a first layer in which an area of the first layer whose low level configuration is desired to be concealed is represented by a preset symbol and that also stores network configuration information of a second layer showing the area represented by the preset symbol. The system also includes a network configuration management section that allows a first user to manage a network of the first layer using the network configuration information of the first layer and that also allows a second user to manage a network of the second layer using at least the network configuration information of the second layer.

Flow-driven forwarding architecture for information centric networks

A flow-driven forwarding strategy includes receiving an Interest packet, where the interest packet includes a flow state indicator. The content associated with the Interest packet is checked to determine whether that content is locally stored. Another check is performed to determine whether any previously received Interest packet has requested the content. In response to the content not being locally stored and no related Interest packet has been previously received, the flow state indicator is checked in the Interest packet. In response to the flow state indicator indicating that the Interest packet is associated with an active flow, forwarding information is extracted from a flow state table if a hop count has a value of zero or from the Interest packet if the hop count has a value greater than zero. The Interest packet is then forwarded to a next hop in accordance with the forwarding information.

Evolved node-B and mobility management entity and user equipment and methods for supporting attended and unattended services

Embodiments of an Evolved Node-B (eNB) to support packet-switched (PS) services according to EPS bearers are disclosed herein. The eNB may receive an EPS bearer setup message from an MME for an establishment of an EPS bearer for a PS service between a User Equipment (UE) and a PGW. The EPS bearer setup message may include an attention indicator for the PS service that indicates whether traffic for the PS service is attended or unattended at the UE. The eNB may further transmit traffic packets to and receive traffic packets from the UE 102 as part of the PS service. In addition, the eNB may use the attention indicator as part of congestion control in the network.
