A preferred embodiment suspension trauma relief strap assembly for use with a full body harness includes a pair of straps connectable in two configurations. The first configuration is formed by engaging a hook of one strap with one of a plurality of closed loop arrangements of the other strap to form a sling upon which a person donning the full body harness may stand. The second configuration is formed by engaging the hook of the one strap with one of the plurality of closed loop arrangements of the one strap and engaging the hook of the other strap with one of the plurality of closed loop arrangements of the other strap to form two slings upon which a person donning the full body harness may stand.

Integral safety harness connector assembly

A safety harness connector assembly including a D-ring, a device connector system and a shaft. The D-ring is generally a C-shape including a first end portion, a second end portion and mid-portion. The mid-portion extends between the first end portion and the second end portion. The first end portion has a first D-ring aperture and the second end portion having has a second D-ring aperture that is aligned with the first D-ring aperture. The device connector system includes at least one device connection aperture that is configured and arranged to couple a device to the safety harness connector assembly. The device connector system has at least one shaft connection aperture. A shaft is received in the first and second D-ring apertures of the D-ring and in the at least one shaft connection aperture of the device connector system to pivotally couple the device connector system to the D-ring.

ADJUSTABLE PADDING FOR A SAFETY HARNESS

An adjustable safety harness comprises first and second shoulder straps, a waist strap, and pad assemblies. A shoulder pad assembly comprises a base pad portion, first and second shoulder pad portions, and first and second extension portions. The first and second shoulder pad portions extend from the base pad portion. The first and second extension portions are selectively operatively connected to the first and second shoulder pad portions. A waist pad assembly comprises a base waist pad portion and first and second side pad portions. The first and second side pad portions are selectively operatively connected to the base waist pad portion. At least a portion of each of the first and second side pad portions includes at least two sizing indicators configured and arranged to provide selective adjustment of the adjustable padding to one of at least two sizes.

HARNESS CONNECTOR

Various embodiments illustrated herein disclose a full body harness that includes a connector. The connector includes a first plate and a second plate, where the first plate is identical to the second plate. The first plate and the second plate includes a plurality of slits to facilitate passage of a first harness and a second harness therethrough. The first plate is rotatably coupled to the second plate such that they are rotatable with respect to each other. Such a connector automatically enables easy adjustment of the harness based on an activity of a user who is wearing the harness.

The rotatable knob is rotationally biased by a biasing mechanism.
