Breathable Shoe with Barrier for Protection from Wind and Water
Shoes have an upper which is highly breathable and made of air-permeable materials. A barrier is attached to the sole with a water-tight bond and circumscribes the shoes. The barrier is impermeable to wind and water. Optionally, the barrier is present only in a front section of the shoes, in which case the barrier terminal ends are bonded to to an outer surface of the shoe. The barrier extends upwardly from the sole about 0.5-6 inches. The barrier may be curved such that it extends over a front section of the shoe, optionally following the shape of the upper. The barrier provides significant protection from wind and water, but does not greatly impair breathability of the upper.
SHOES
The present invention relates to a shoe including an upper, the upper including an instep cover that covers the instep of a foot. The instep cover includes an instep cover body and a tongue. Two or more protrusions that are configured to extend in use from the instep cover body toward the foot are located at least in a region between the MP joint and the talus in a side portion of the instep cover body. The protrusions are made of embroidery. The protrusions have a height of 0.5 mm or more, a width of 2 mm or more, and a length of 2 mm or more. A distance between each pair of the adjacent protrusions is 2 mm or more in part of the region. The shoe of the present invention includes the upper that improves the heat dissipation properties without impairing the contact between the foot and the shoe.
SHOE COMPONENT
A shoe component includes a base structure which is substantially shaped so as to reproduce at least partially the sole of a foot of a user, the base structure having an upper surface which is designed to be directed toward the foot and a lower surface which is opposite the upper surface, the component comprising one or more through holes and one or more blind holes provided in the base structure. The one or more through holes are in communication with one or more of the one or more blind holes through one or more channels provided in the base structure.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND APPARATUSES FOR THE USE, MANUFACTURE, AND APPLICATION OF AN INTEGRATED STABILITY CHASSIS FOR PROFESSIONAL BOXING SHOES
In accordance with embodiments disclosed herein, there are provided methods, systems, and apparatuses for the use, manufacture, and application of an integrated stability chassis for use with professional boxing shoes. For example, there is a boxing shoe, including: a shoe sole having a smooth glide portion and a rotational pivot portion and a grip portion; an integrated stability chassis affixed atop the shoe sole; a lower shoe portion affixed atop the integrated stability chassis to surround a wearer's heel and lower foot, in which the integrated stability chassis suspends the lower shoe portion, in which the lower shoe portion serves as a base for a mid-rear shoe portion, a front shoe portion, and an upper shoe portion; a mid-rear shoe portion to stabilize the ankle of a wearer; a front shoe portion to stabilize the upper front portion of a wearer's foot; and an upper shoe portion to stabilize the lower leg and upper ankle of a wearer. Other related embodiments are described.

ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR HAVING A DEGRADABLE COMPONENT
An article of footwear is provided that includes a sole structure and an upper attached to the sole structure. The upper includes an exterior layer and a base layer, and the exterior layer includes a biodegradable layer and a biologically active agent capable of biodegrading the biodegradable layer.
Compressible sole for compressible footwear and method of manufacturing compressible footwear
A compressible footwear that may include a compressible sole and a compressible upper part that is mechanically coupled to the compressible sole. The compressible sole consisting essentially of multiple compressible cells that are made of a flexible material and have top openings and bottom openings. The multiple compressible cells span over at least a majority of the compressible sole and are configured to undergo a compression while substantially maintaining a thickness of the compressible sole.
ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR WITH UPPER HAVING STITCHED POLYMER THREAD PATTERN AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
An upper for an article of footwear, the upper including a base layer defining a least a portion of the upper and polymer threads stitched to the base layer. The polymer threads may include a core composed of a first material and a coating composed of a second material, where the melting point of the first material is higher than the melting point of the second material. The polymer threads may be bonded to the base layer by the coating of the polymer threads. The polymer threads may include one or more polymer thread sets stitched in pattern(s) on area(s) of an outer surface of the base layer to provide targeted characteristics to area(s) on the upper. In some embodiments, the polymer threads may be bonded to the base layer with heat and/or pressure.
