SAFETY HARNESS CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A safety harness connector assembly comprises a strap connector and an insert. The strap connector includes a base through which a base bore longitudinally extends and an extension. The base and the extension form an opening configured and arranged to receive a strap of a safety harness. The insert includes an intermediate portion interconnecting a first side and a second side, and the intermediate portion is configured and arranged to be received within the base bore. The first side includes a protrusion and the second side includes a shoulder portion. The protrusion and the shoulder portion are configured and arranged to engage opposing ends of the base when the intermediate portion is received within the base bore to secure the insert within the base.
ROPING HARNESS WITH VENTRAL SUSPENSION POINT
A roping harness comprises a belt and leg loops joined by a leg loop connection. A connector keeps the belt and the pair of leg loops together, the latter each passing through a connection ring of the connector. The belt and leg loop connection are movable with respect to one another and with respect to the body. The connector has a body, a rotation shaft and a first D-ring mounted rotatable with respect to the body around the rotation shaft. The first D-ring pivots around an axis of rotation parallel to a direction passing through the connection ring. The first D-ring is connected to the body by means of the rotation shaft fixedly mounted on the body.
FALL-PROTECTION SYSTEM WITH MONITORING SYSTEM
A fall-protection system including a harness and a fall-protection apparatus with a lifeline bearing a connector configured to be connected to the harness; and, a fall-protection monitoring system with a base unit and with at least one sensor module configured to sense a condition of the connector and to communicate a signal indicative of the condition of the connector to the base unit.
WEB HARNESS SYSTEM WITH LEG COMPONENTS
A web harness system includes a sub-pelvic support portion. A leg harness portion is connected to the sub-pelvic support portion. The leg harness portion including: a first leg extension connected to a first portion of the sub-pelvic support portion; a second leg extension connected to a second portion of the sub-pelvic support portion; a right leg adjustment belt connected to the first leg extension; and a left leg adjustment belt connected to the second leg extension.
Device for Rescuing a Person from a Wind Turbine, and a Wind Turbine
A device (1-1b) for rescuing a person (33) from a wind turbine (5), which comprises a parachute and a harness (9; 9b), which can be or is connected to the parachute, and which can be donned by the person to be rescued (33). Advantageously, a static line (2) is provided for connecting the rescue device (1-1b) to the wind turbine (5). Advantageously, rescuing maintenance personnel in an evacuation by jumping from the nacelle or an opening in the wind turbine is possible.
CONNECTING DEVICE OF RETAINING RING OF SAFETY BELT
A connecting device of a retaining ring of a safety belt includes a main body, a bolt, and a locking member. The main body is used with the bolt to form an enclosure or not. The bolt passes through a bolt bore of the main body and has a first teeth portion and a stopper located in a first half part of the first teeth portion. The first teeth portion and the locking member are used to control the bolt to lock or to unlock. The locking member could move between a first position and a second position along an axial direction of the locking member and could rotate around a central axis of the locking member. When the bolt is at a closed position and the locking member is at the first position, a second teeth portion of the locking member is meshed with the first half part. When the bolt is at the closed position and the locking member is at the second position, the second teeth portion is meshed with the second half part.
