Message renotification
In response to determining that an original message from a sender has been viewed by one or recipients of the original message, a determination is made whether the original message has been edited by the sender. In response to determining that the original message has been edited, another determination is made whether the edits are critical based, at least in part, on a change of context of the original message. In response to determining that the edits are critical, re-notifying the one or more recipients that the original message has been edited by the sender.
Session initiation method and device
Disclosed is an automatic telephonic session initiation method performed at a telephone session server including: receiving a telephonic session reservation request from a telephonic session client of a first terminal, the telephonic session reservation request including an identifier of an instant messaging client of a second terminal and a telephonic session initiation condition; storing corresponding reservation information according to the telephonic session reservation request; sending the reservation information to the instant messaging client of the second terminal according to the identifier of the instant messaging client of the second terminal; receiving a telephonic session reservation feedback message from the instant messaging client of the second terminal; and sending a telephonic session initiation request to the telephonic session client of the first terminal and a telephonic session client of the second terminal according to the reservation information when the telephonic session initiation condition is satisfied.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DYNAMICALLY ROUTING APPLICATION NOTIFICATIONS TO SELECTED DEVICES
Systems and methods for dynamically routing notifications based on device statuses are disclosed herein. For instance, a notification may be generated for a user account corresponding to an application that is installed on a plurality of devices. A system identifies a status of each of the plurality of devices and uses the status of each of the plurality of devices to select a particular device to receive the notification. The system then transmits the notification to the selected particular device.
Messaging achievement pictograph display system
Systems and methods for causing display of a messaging achievement pictograph based on messaging activity are provided. In some example embodiments, a message activity communication is received by a messaging activity service from a client device, the messaging active communication causing and adjustment to a message activity score and the message activity score transgressing a first threshold activity score. Responsive to the message activity transgressing the first threshold activity score, an achievement pictograph is displayed on the client device. In some example embodiments, the pictograph may be ephemeral and removal of the pictograph may be triggered by a designated time or by the message activity score transgressing a second threshold activity score. In some example embodiments, a notification is generated that notifies a user of the display or removal from display of the achievement pictograph.

Devices, methods, and graphical user interfaces for messaging
An electronic device displays a messaging user interface of a message application, including a conversation transcript of a messaging session between a user of the electronic device and at least one other user, a message-input area, the conversation transcript including a plurality of messages and a plurality of message regions, each message region containing a respective message of the plurality of messages. In response to a first input corresponding to a first respective message in the conversation transcript, displaying an indication that the first respective message has been selected. In response to one or more second inputs, including message composition inputs, displaying in a second message region in the conversation transcript a second message corresponding to the message composition inputs, and displaying a grouping indicia that connects the first respective message region with the second message region.

Displaying sensitive content based on whether others are around user
A sensitive content display control system determines whether to display sensitive content on a computing device display, such as on a lock screen. The system attempts to authenticate a user of the computing device, and does not display the sensitive content if the user is not authenticated. If the user is authenticated, then the system determines whether anyone in addition to the user is looking at the computing device display. If the user is authenticated and no one else is looking at the computing device display, then the sensitive content is displayed. However, if the user is authenticated and at least one additional person is looking at the computing device display, then the sensitive content is not displayed.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SMART REMINDERS
Static/Fixed-time meeting notifications may not be adequate and are not useful if the user is not online when the static/fixed-time reminder is sent. Systems, methods, and software to provide intelligent reminders. In one embodiment, presence data associated with a user is collected and stored. A calendar of the user is accessed to determine if any meetings have a start time occurring within a predetermined timeframe, wherein the predetermined timeframe is determined based on the presence data associated with the user. For each identified meeting that occurs within the predetermined time frame, determining a notification time based on the presence data associated with the user and presenting a notification at the determined notification time.
