Automatic suggestions and other content for messaging applications
A messaging application may automatically analyze content of one or more messages and/or user information to automatically provide suggestions to a user within a messaging application. The suggestions may automatically incorporate particular non-messaging functionality into the messaging application. The automatic suggestions may suggest one or more appropriate responses to be selected by a user to respond in the messaging application, and/or may automatically send one or more appropriate responses on behalf of a user.
Cyber Threat Defense System Protecting Email Networks with Machine Learning Models using a Range of Metadata from Observed Email Communications
A cyber-threat defense system for a network including its email domain protects this network from cyber threats. Modules utilize machine learning models as well communicate with a cyber threat module. Modules analyze the wide range of metadata from the observed email communications. The cyber threat module analyzes with the machine learning models trained on a normal behavior of email activity and user activity associated with the network and in its email domain in order to determine when a deviation from the normal behavior of email activity and user activity is occurring. A mass email association detector determines a similarity between highly similar emails being i) sent from or ii) received by a collection of two or more individual users in the email domain in a substantially simultaneous time frame. Mathematical models can be used to determine similarity weighing in order to derive a similarity score between compared emails.
Smart message renderer
A method for processing a message received via an electronic communication network by a user terminal is disclosed. The method comprises receiving the message, the message including data corresponding to an initial message content determined by a sender of the message and at least one data item corresponding to a function, the at least one data item being determined by the sender of the message; and determining a final content, the final content including the initial message content determined by the sender of the message and a specific content obtained by determining a result of the function applied to at least data from the user terminal.
GENERATING CUSTOMIZED GRAPHICS HAVING REACTIONS TO ELECTRONIC MESSAGE CONTENT
Method of generating customized graphics having reactions to electronic message content starts with application server causing a communication interface for a communication session to be displayed at a first client device and at a second client device, respectively. The communication session is between a plurality of client devices. The communication interface includes a chat presence bar that includes a plurality of presence indicators associated with the client devices, respectively. Application server receives content for an electronic message from first client device or second client device and generates a customized graphic based on the content for the electronic message and a user identifier for first client device. Application server causes the customized graphic to be displayed on the chat presence bar of the communication interface displayed on the second client device. The customized graphic included in a first presence indicator associated with the first client device. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Contextual generation and selection of customized media content
Among other things, embodiments of the present disclosure improve the functionality of electronic messaging software and systems by generating and selecting customized media content items (such as images) with avatars of different users within electronic messages based on the context of communications between the users. For example, users of different mobile computing devices can exchange electronic communications with each other, and the system can analyze these communications to present options for media content items containing the users' avatars based on content in the communications, actions or events taken by or involving the users, or combinations thereof. The users may select such media content items for inclusion in their electronic communications.

Modifying message content based on user preferences
A messaging system receives a message including a recipient ID and a message body, the message body containing one or more customizable fields. The messaging system receives a user preference model based on the recipient ID. The user preference model identifies message elements and content preferred by the recipient of the message. Based on the user preference model, the messaging system modifies the customizable fields in the message body, generating a modified message. The modified message is transmitted to a client device associated with the recipient ID for presentation to the recipient.

Converting a document into a chatbot-accessible form via the use of communicative discourse trees
Techniques are disclosed for textual analysis. In an example, a text analysis application constructs a discourse tree that represents rhetorical relationships between fragments of text. The application matches each fragment that has a verb to a verb signature, thereby creating a communicative discourse tree. The application identifies, in the communicative discourse tree, a terminal node including a nucleus elementary discourse unit, which is dominant to a corresponding satellite elementary discourse unit. The application extracts, from the communicative discourse tree, a particular verb signature corresponding to the nucleus elementary discourse unit. The application determines a subject from the verb signature and forms a question fragment from the subject.
Systems and methods for providing message templates in an enterprise system
A system may include a number of records in a database associated with a number of activities to be performed by a first user. The system may also include a processor that may receive a request comprising information regarding a second user and an activity to be performed by the first user, identify a plurality of pre-defined message templates based on the request, and receive a selection of one of the plurality of pre-defined message templates. The processor may then generate message text incorporating the one of the plurality of pre-defined message templates for review and display via an electronic display, such that the message text is electronically stored in a dialogue window. The processor may display the message text in the dialogue in response to receiving an approval of the message.
