A device for managing subscriptions of subscribers stores subscription entries. Each subscription entry includes information indicating data of interest in a first part, and includes subscriber information related to subscribers of the data of interest in a second part. Moreover, a subscription entry of the subscription entries includes in its second part subscriber information related to at least two subscribers of the data of interest indicated by the information in the first part. The device further provides the data of interest indicated by the information in the first part of the subscription entry to the at least two subscribers associated with the subscriber information in the second part.

A computing device and computer-implemented method to provide user-control short message service (SMS). The method begins with converting by a server, one or more user preferences into each third-party specific filter for one of a plurality of third-party servers. Next, a server, accesses data using at least one of API calls, web scraping, file transfer protocol (FTP), http methods, or a combination thereof, data using the third-party specific filter in a plurality of third-party formats from the plurality of third-party servers, wherein the data in the plurality of third-party formats from the plurality of third-party servers Next, the data in the third-party format is filtered, which has been accessed according to user preferences, the user preferences including a mobile device identifier. Next, the data in the third-party format is converted which as specified by the user preferences into a format compatible with the SMS protocol or an instant message for receipt by a messaging app. Finally, the data is sent in which has been converted into the SMS format or instant message to the mobile device as specified by the mobile device identifier.

Asynchronous Event-Based Distributed Messaging Service

When instantiating a requesting process that publishes a request for a response from a responding process, a method of implementing an event-based distributed messaging service includes identifying a response topic of a distributed messaging service and generating subscriptions for the response topic where each subscription includes a subscription identifier. During runtime for the requesting process, the method publishes a request message to a request topic subscribed to by the responding process where the request message includes a unique message identifier and generates a subscriber using a respective subscription identifier of a respective subscription selected from the subscriptions where the subscriber includes the unique message identifier. During runtime for the requesting process, the method also receives, at the subscriber, a filtered response message from the responding process where the filtered response message is filtered based on a subscription identifier associated with the subscriptions for the requesting process.

Clipboard object sharing for instant messaging

Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to cut and paste object processing for instant messaging and provide a method, system and computer program product for clipboard object sharing for instant messaging. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for clipboard object sharing in an instant messaging session can include requesting transfer of a clipboard object from a source instant messaging client to a target instant messaging client in an instant messaging session, determining whether or not the target instant messaging client supports a format of the clipboard object, and transferring the clipboard object to the target instant messaging client only if the target instant messaging client supports the format of the clipboard object.

Optimizing effectiveness of content in electronic messages among a system of networked computing device

Various embodiments relate generally to data science and data analysis, computer software and systems, and control systems to provide a platform to facilitate implementation of an interface, and, more specifically, to a computing and data storage platform that implements specialized logic to optimize effectiveness of content in electronic messages as a function, for example, modifiable portions of the content. In some examples, a method may include publishing a first electronic message including data representing a subset of components of electronic message, identifying a performance criterion against which a performance metric may be monitored, monitoring a value of the performance metric, determining a match, and publishing a second electronic message.

Suppressing indications of events in user interfaces

In a system for outputting a notification including a processor and a computer-readable medium, the computer-readable medium includes instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to control the system to perform operating a plurality of software sets, each software set configured to individually cause the system to output a separate notification in response to an occurrence of an event commonly associated with the plurality of software sets; detecting that, in response to the occurrence of the commonly associated event, the plurality of software sets is set to cause the system to output a plurality of notifications, respectively, each notification being indicative of the occurrence of the event; and in response to detecting that that the plurality of software sets is set to cause the system to output the plurality of notifications, respectively, causing the system to output fewer than all of the plurality of notifications.
