Hero cards that display contextual information and actions for backend systems

Systems herein supply hero cards that display contextual information and actions based on backend systems. The information and actions are related to a trigger content item in an application that does not have access to the backend systems. A hero agent running a user device can communicate the trigger content to a hero server. The hero server can determine which connectors to backend systems relate to the user device, and then can retrieve result information from one or more of the backend systems. The result information populates the hero card, which the hero agent displays within the application. Action buttons on the hero card cause the hero agent to contact one or more of the backend systems to cause an action to take place there.

Real-time generation and provisioning of contextual notification data to network connected devices

The disclosed embodiments include computer-implemented systems, apparatuses, and processes that dynamically generate and provision contextually relevant notifications to network-connected devices. For example, an apparatus receives a first signal that includes information indicative of an authorized data exchange involving a terminal device and a client device. The apparatus identifies and loads data specifying a notification template from the storage unit, and generates notification data that is populated with a portion of the received information in accordance with the notification template. The apparatus further transmits a second signal that includes the notification data to the client device. In some instances, the second signal is transmitted through a programmatic interface associated with an application program executed by the client device, and the client device is configured to display the notification data on a corresponding interface.

RANKING CONTENT FOR DISPLAY

Disclosed are methods and systems for ranking content. In one aspect, a method of ranking content for display includes identifying, via hardware processing circuitry, interactions by a single account with content pairs, each of the content in the content pairs included in a plurality of content, aggregating, via the hardware processing circuitry, the identified interactions across a plurality of accounts, associating, via the hardware processing circuitry, probabilities with each content in the plurality of content based on the aggregated interactions, ranking, via the hardware processing circuitry, the plurality of content based on the associated probabilities; and selecting, via the hardware processing circuitry, content ranked above a threshold for display.

Generating Context-Aware Rendering of Media Contents for Assistant Systems

In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a media content associated with a priority level for delivery to a first user, determining a filter level for providing a notification associated with the media content based on context information associated with the first user, wherein the context information is determined based on multimodal signals from a head-mounted device, determining a delivery level for providing the notification associated with the media content based on the priority level of the media content and the filter level, wherein the delivery level has an inverse relationship with the filter level, and presenting the notification associated with the media content to the first user at the head-mounted device, wherein the notification is presented in modalities determined based on the delivery level for the media content.

Telecommunication and multimedia management method and apparatus

A telecommunication and multimedia management apparatus and method that supports voice and other media communications and that enables users to: (i) participate in multiple conversation modes, including live phone calls, conference calls, instant voice messaging or tactical communications; (ii) review the messages of conversations in either a live mode or a time-shifted mode and to seamlessly transition back and forth between the two modes; (iii) participate in multiple conversations either concurrently or simultaneously; (iv) archive the messages of conversations for later review or processing; and (v) persistently store media either created or received on the communication devices of users. The latter feature enables users to generate or review media when either disconnected from the network or network conditions are poor and to optimize the delivery of media over the network based on network conditions and the intention of the users participating in conversations.

Embodiments disclosed herein include methods and apparatuses for providing security to computer users with disabilities, who configure their computers to personalize output in a fashion that enables the user to more easily understand the content of the output. While previously a computer configured to personalize output accordingly may have served as a source of disability information to unauthorized parties accessing the computers, embodiments disclosed herein configure computers for personalization without leaving thereon a record how the personalization was specified during the configuration process. Thus, an unauthorized party gaining access to the user's computer would find it very difficult, if not impossible, to determine the user's disability from an inspection of the computer, so the user is much less likely to become a victim of fraud based on an unauthorized discovery of information regarding vulnerabilities.
